Up to 0.8% for different tier. Need to spend $625 to get 2500 points to get $5 voucher.

Depending on the points awarded to the tier u are on. For platinum it is 4 points per $1 spent. For new or silver tiers, they are at 2 points per dollar spent hence 0.4 to 0.8% range.

Can stretch the value further if redeem during flash sales.

Yes but have to wait and mostly are random. Good if they can have a standard periods when they launched those flash sales. Also, sometimes those popular redemptions will run out for eg capitamall vouchers.

Not sure whether 1k must be paid by physical card or all transactions linked to grab wallet.

Seems only GPMC transactions qualify.

What transactions qualify for the $1000 spend to get my deposit back?
All GrabPay Card transactions at online and offline merchants will be considered for the $1000 cumulative spend.

GrabTaxi, GrabFood, GrabExpress, QR Payments, or transfer transactions to your friends does not qualify for the $1000 cumulative spend.

Given the very limited use cases for this card.... it's quite difficult i think.

I guess that's why they don't want people to just apply and don't use. So the $10 will go towards the cost of the card if the person does not use the card.

It is a bit silly of them. They are a startup and they are in the expansion mode. They are being penny wise pound foolish here. If they give a card, to everyone who requests, there are chances people actually use the card. But if they tell people there is a fee, chances are people will be pissed off and not apply at all.

I think they still in red, so try to cut spent and also make sure people use their product regularly

I'd say GPMC is in contraction mode. First AXS payments were stopped, then you couldn't use it to pay for lots of things, then they devalued the Grab rewards, then they added lots of exclusions and finally every credit card stopped giving rewards when funding GPMC.

I imagine when GPMC first came out they saw a huge increase in volume but now what's the point of using it? It's not like anywhere only accepts GPMC. I know I don't use it anymore.
