Oh yes........ immediately they refunded. Guess i am not the only one making the request. Interesting there were 22 ppl in the queue in front of me. Not sure if it is all related to the same problem or not. haha

Yeah i pumped 5 k into it too cause UOB Amex is nerfing it. But most of my expenses thru grab are AXS (e.g. insurance, road tax) supplemented with some Telco, utility bills and QR code.

Wanted them to only refund $4k as i can still use the other $400 over a few months. But somehow they refunded everything. So oh well.

if they refund to your credit card, all the cashback will be debited from your statement right?

yeah i guess so ...... but i rather have it back as i probably can't spend 4.4k without AXS.

Anyway with deposit interest so high now, really need to balance whether to leave it inside and earn the 1.7% or place it into current accounts with some banks earn >5%pa

I think as long as payment process is not via AXS still can use. Key is AXS must be out of the picture. Some merchant build their own payment process flow on their website

I din read, my concern is if I can still make AIA payment using grab and luckily still ok.
Previously I got even bigger premium to pay (Aviva) and Ive been using AXS for that and Aviva SG doesn't have their own portal for payment, now that AXS/Paynow is nerfed for grab means no more cashback if were to pay Aviva premium, but luckily I've cleared, no longer need to pay from this yr onwards.

Manulife don’t have their own payment gateway

Hdb have their own payment so ok to use grabpay MasterCard.

income tax is out.
