Most of my recurring monthly and annual bills are settled using GPMC with no issues at all.

That's good for you... I have been reading about problems with recurring bill payment using GPMC, thus my cautious advice.

I use GPMC sparingly, use GrabPay mainly for hawker food ....

Some have issues, some ok. Like Prudential was fine initially, but now is cannot. My power bill is fine, so is office 365 subscription.

My concern is if it doesn’t work at that instant, my 2-3k will b in my wallet n it will take long for me to use up the amount.

It is a Master card, why wld it not work. Being using the virtual card, Samsung Pay for a while..

Some merchants reject GPMC. And just because they don't reject it now, doesn't mean they don't reject it in future. E.g. GPMC can use for google ads payments in April 2020. But when i wanted to use it again in Sep 2020, it is no longer accepted. I topped up $1k for nothing.

My experience was with a $540+ purchase at retail using physical card.

Retailer insert chip into card machine, and I got an immediate deduction reflected on my GrabPay App.

hopefully would have no issue for higher amt~

yea, only can use to pay for bills if it doesnt works :s13:

Ya. That’s my concern especially after I topped up for big ticket. Have been hearing some bad experience.

How about try $10 first? If pass, then top up grabpay and pay the rest.

Generally not all merchants allow split payment. When it comes to payment, u need to make the decision on the spot like whether to top up and use. And also if most merchants get thru, u just need one merchant which doesn’t allow it to have ur grab top up for nothing. And I m referring to the merchant you intend to use ur gmpc for the big ticket. Gg

it is better than previous promo.

previous promo requires at least 7,500 points, now you can do multiple rounds of 2,500 points.
