yea i gotten the annual restriction thingy just transfer the credits to wife's card instead

Anyone received request from Grab to take a selfie while holding your NRIC? I thought that is Malaysia requirement and it is for first-time users. Since when SG also adopted this and I don't see any news on this...

I also received this. I haven't do it yet. Nothing in their app. I don't know if the email is a spoof.

There is FAQ link in the email which directs to the Grab Website on the Selfie submission. So it looks genuine to me..

I ignored the email once. Now they sent a reminder email. There is no mentioning of what if I don't submit the selfie, what will happen to my GrabPay wallet..

If it is related to Grabpay wallet security, since a lot of people use Grabpay wallet here, some even max out the 30K annual limit. I wonder if any of those receives the selfie request too...

When booking Grab rides, if we were to use credit/debit card to pay directly to Grab (instead of using the GrabPay wallet credits), will there be credit/debit cards rebates from the banks?

Or is it the same as using credit/debit cards to top-up/fund GrabPay wallet, i.e., no rebates by most banks?

Yes there is rebate for most credit cards. E.g. up to 8% for maybank family and friend or uob yolo, up to 5%+5% for uob one

Anyone tried taking cab using comfort app street hail function using grabpay? How come as soon as when I pair my ride, they deduct $20 from my card when the journey has not ended yet? Then when the journey ended, the receipt churn out is more than $20? Is this normal? :s11:
