Depends on how much space you have to work with, noise level you are okay with and if you need variable output for your compressor.

Personally, i am still on spray cans.

I have a whole ikea storage box load of gunpla, boardgame miniatures that need painting. I already bought a spray booth with led. So i was looking at compressor. Is the sparmax 610h a good beginner compressor? How much does it cost?

where u saw the sparmax 610h, wat price? i am not familiar with the price, but it looks expensive

for a start, u can probably get those airbursh+compressor set from hobbymate. not too expensive, and decent enuf

anyone use those portable spray booth with vents before? Does the filter does it job to trap all the paint? Will the paint escape via the vent and end up coating my window?

any one have try using mr colour metallic chrome steel and top with clear red later before?

there will still be some paint particles that will escape.
just pipe the air out of the window

havent tried with mr colour metallic... i have only done it with gaia starbright silver.

u can always test out the effect using unwanted runners or plastics spooons

i.e.

will the wooden window frame get very colorful after some time?
Need to address my lady boss' concern before she will approve my hobby...

i always have to setup everything before i do air brush then keep all when done.

no spare room for me..

The Sheng Tai toys warehouse sales are back, this time they seems to have alot of gundam models on sale,

HG - quite a hugh selection ranging from 5 bucks onwards
MG - limited selection, i saw are Char zaku MS-06S for 35 bucks, the other custom zaku MS-60R are 45 bucks each; all are ver02, Jesta 40 bucks, EX-S 85 bucks etc etc
RG - starting from 25 bucks

the rest of the kids toys are similar to their last warehouse sales
