Anyone here have experience buying gunpla from yodobashi akiba ? Other than stffing everything into luggage, is there any other way to bring back your loots ? Thanks in advance

if u not particular about box, then throw away the box or flatten it, keeping only the runners. box is bulky and take up lots of space

Me. I bought 2 RG, 1 MG, 6 SD. All stuffed into a large suitcase.

When I buy kits in Taipei, I have them sent by sea ship to me. Not sure how to do this in Japan though.

Thx for all the suggestions. I would be buying nu ver Ka, mg sinanju, hg kshatriya, hg psycho and a few Rg kits. I'm afraid my luggage isn't big enough to fit all these

Depends on how you are going to pack your luggage, you probably can fit the Nu and Sinanju as the bottom layer of your luggage.

As for the rest, you probably have to handcarry them or buy a box from the post office at the airport. Store the rest in the box and check in as fragile.

taobao seller does not ship direct to SG. You need to use parcel forwarder. check out this link http://sea.taobao.com/market/act/parcelforwarding.php .

I've been using 4PX ..so far no issue. the biggest item i've bought was MG Rx-93 Nu Gundam Ver.Ka and was charge 1.7kg

or u can use 65diagou to shop for you. http://www.65daigou.com/WhyChooseUs . They charge by volumetric weight (kg) = length x height x width (cm)/ 6,000

recently i tried daigou for MG STRIKE FREEDOM Full Burst mode and was charge S$22.10 for 5.76kg by sea (Actual weight 2kg).

Item not here yet so don;t know why the box is so huge that i was charged for 5.76kg

bought 2 RG (Destiny Gundam & RX-78 GP01FB) from taobao and the weight was 1.22kg (4PX charge on actual weight)

about $56 after conversion + $12++ for 4px to ship to sg. think cheaper than buying from SG.
