Tamiya TS-14 Black. eh..about 15cm away ?

after u prime, is the surface smooth? if not, u can try to sand it down lightly so that it is smooth.

for gloss, u need a wet coat. I am not familiar to spraycan, but u can try spraying slightly nearer. better to try out on a unwanted part or plastic spoon first

By the way, are you spraying at night or during daytime with sunny weather? I noticed that my gloss paints have a glossier finish when sprayed on a hot sunny day than during nights.

Also, for gloss black, it may take 2 coats since you have a surfacer underneath (first coat and 2nd wet coat).

I can only do spraying at night after the kids sleep. :s22: else have to wait till weekend.

i'll try spray 2nd coat nearer. but so far i like the result of painting...which is bad...might lead to air brush? :s13:

for gloss, try thicker wet coating at nearer distance... please note wet but not dripping wet......

Hobby Link Japan or Amiami for online sources, though you gotta be quick for Amiami as they provide good prices but their pre orders get wiped pretty fast.

Amiami also out of stock one... Use both of them for my rider collection. How about panel markers and top coat? Panel marker hlj backorder while spray-can cannot ship oversea from jap i think

Paints, coat etc, local hobby shops will be advisable.

The hobby shops named, HAW/HAG, they sell supplies as well.
