thanks bro. i'll stay with it for the time being, though i'm eyeing the audio technic m40x.

Sibera V2 actually not bad sounding I would say.
Good enough for daily use.

Anyway mine is the Diablo limited edition. USB type.
It does have those vibration/impact but sometimes over limit of the driver can take if you on too loud that's like almost at max.

I still using it daily for my pc. Like watch youtube, shows all those, music not bad also IMO.

Decent all rounder.

read review online and the sony mdr7506 was highly recommended. but jason commented about the frequency, which i really don't know what is it about. but i trust the guys here.

i saw a video on the comparison on mdr7506, ath m40x and hd280, and found that m40x gave the most accurate audio as compared to the source.

i'm looking at wired only, as it's cheaper and lighter.

Have you tested M40X? the reviews seem good, i am considering this and the sony wireless headphone.

Actually don't trust the people here so much, we are only able to provide recommendation based on some of our personal experience. As far as audio and sound is concern, it is very personal and subjective so the ONLY way to really know what works is to test them yourself. Reviews are great, your ears are more accurate.

Yes this is normal, remembered I used to have such issue myself before Lasik.

You could either consider getting an "on ear" headphone or even better, choose an "over ear" headphone with very soft padding. Of cos I believe most people train themselves to be immune to the pain after a while....

Most of your options seem to be warmer and slightly bassy to me but maybe you have auditon and felt those are fine. Given your choice of IEM to have less bass I might go with the RHA 750i. http://www.stereo.com.sg/rha-ma750i.htmlFantastic built for the price and excellent accessories provided.

IMO the Sennheiser momentum IE is a forgiving IEM that is great for those functions.

Considering that there are headphone over $6k, no....

Neutral sounding is subjective so its hard to say what is and what's not, this is quite personal. However in general "neutral" sounding aka balanced sounding headphone should work for movies but varies to what movie you are referring to. For dialogue to be clear then the mid range of the headphone should be transparent enough to achieve that but for action movies you probably want a bit for bass and a wide soundstage for the effects.
