Could anyone recommend/advice a good headphone?

Some conditons below:

• Mainly using in office, maybe might use when travelling.
• playing games and watching videos/movies when during break
• Definitely using it for music during work
• Would need mic for meeting
• If possible, able to support 3.5mm jack and bluetooth

Currently using Marshall Monitor (v1) headphone (still barely surviving with the headphone's conditions) and using Jabra Elite 3.

Was considering going for Sony XH-1000MX4 but still looking around for viable options to replace my Marshall Monitor (not v2!)

You really like the Sony sound? Frankly....the 1more Sonoflow sounds similar but app custom EQ is not good. Soundcore Space series also sound similar and app custom EQ is quite good.

ANC wise Soundcore is very comparable to the Sony. Comfort wise 1more is comparable, Soundcore earcups too round and creates pressure at the area behind the ear.

Frankly none of the above gives those wow sound but is good for general listening.

So unless you need good ANC, there is no reason to get the Sony. Even then the XM4 ANC is just about average. I rate Soundcore Space Q45, Sony XM5, Bose Ultra noticeably better than the rest.

So why pay so much more, today's technology give so affordable ANC headphones. And the Bose don't even look nice...

i was looking at the sonoflow but reviews mentioned tht the highs aren't clean, so i didnt purchase it

it's hard to find samples for the lesser known brands and have to depend on reviews

i like the XM4 cause the highs sound more open than the XM5 but i guess tht's personal preference

I thought XM5 is way better to my ears but anyway...

Maybe you can also go Soundcore retail shops test their headphones. Tech something, many outlets all around the island.

Soundcore Q45 is pretty good but I just don't like discomfort from the rounded earpads.

Hi, I'm looking for a replacement for my AP Pro (2nd Gen). I personally find the base, mic quality and transparency are enough for me.

Any recommendation on a cheaper alternative ? (maybe less than $200, in-ear prefer as I will be using for sports)

Had it but sold it off after couple of months. Got mine last year from taobao for ~$230. International pricing for this model is a rip off. I remember official rrp from Edifier SG was $399. This is a planar but closed backed. Currently i am using Hifiman HE400SE which is also planar but open backed and to me the HE400SE sounds so much better.

Personally i used TWS for gym as headphones are way too bulky but its your own preference. I would say the Stax S3 are very comfortable, way way way more comfortable than the Hifiman HE400SE. Ultimately, depends on what price you are able to get the Stax S3 for. If above $300 then i feel not worth it as thats kinda close to sony and sennheiser territory.

Add: The Stax S3 is semi-foldable and comes with a storage case. So thats one additional pro it has over the Hifiman HE400SE.

Cant answer you on that. For starters, i never tried the sonys and senheisers before. Secondly, when outside i prefer TWS or wired IEMs as again, headphones are too bulky for me to want to bring out. If ANC is a requirement for you, then look at those models with proper ANC. As for sound quality, the best way i can put it is the Stax S3 is pretty monitor like. Not much coloration with its default sound signature.
