Can try beyerdynamic DTX501p and also the Creative Aurvana Live. =)

Thank for the recommendation, but the DTX501p doesnt cover the whole ears right? Actually looking for headphones that cover the whole ear.

the CAL! doesn't cover the large ears like mine.
headfi also got people like me.

but it is still very comfortable.
maybe xxvii27 can try the beyerdynamic dt 231 as well.

Would like to seek recommendation for a new in-ear earphone.

- Your rig : Nexus 7 & HTC Desire HD
- What type of usage : Music, Podcasts, Audiobook, rather light gaming
- File format used in your source : flac, mp3, video format is depending on podcast source
- Genre of music you listen to : classical
- Headphone / earphone type : in-ear ear phone
- Other requirements (if any) : mic preferably but not a must, volume if works on android devices (else no need)
- Budget (in figures) : $100 +-

I'm currently using a UE 400vi which the connector is giving up.
The sound quality is not too bad, but it is very difficult to drive as my devices are almost always at full volume in order to be heard in public area.

I do have poweramp for android installed on my devices for equalizer settings.

Preferably looking for a ear piece that is warmth with good clarity.

If you still like the UE 400 sound can go for the UE 400vm =) it has analog volume control too

If not, you might want to look at the MMX101iE =)

My ears but quite small but most people find that the CAL is very comfortable, and sivernoy is one good example of that =)

Yes its open and people outside can hear because open can will leak out the sound.

If you want a closed can you can look at the beyerdynamic DTX501p and also the Bose AE2

My current cans are Grados. PS1000 (with HDP) at home and Hf2 (with above) in office.

I'm intending to replace the HF2 in office; or bring the PS1000 to office and replace the home cans with something comparable.

I enjoy the Grado sound and they are well suited to the genres I listen to. So short of getting another set of PS1000, what would you recommend that I try out as alternatives?
