I had read different answers on the recurring payment with DBS credit cards for SP services . Could DBS clarify on which are the credit cards which can be used for recurring payment?

Is it eligible for all DBS credit cards, or only POSB Everyday card is eligible?

Hope DBS can come out to clarify. Thanks.

Well, to answer your question, you can set up with SP/Starhub to have your monthly bills charged to any DBS/POSB card.

However, the POSB Everyday Card gives you 1% rebate on recurring payment to these 2.

To set up recurring payment with SP/Starhub - just check your bill payment advice from them, there should instructions or a form to fill up and mail back to them.

the 6% rebate ending soon is for DBS Live Fresh?

For DBS Live Fresh Card

Ok, what we can share at this point is that do all your online shopping before 29 Feb to get the 6% rebate.

Will it be extended beyond Feb? It really remains to be seen and to some extent, maybe you guys will have a say. That's all we can share for now.

Big hint ->Get your online shopping done before 29 Feb...

Wow! Nice Hint:)

Btw, to play safe, since the 6% is based on posting date. Those planning to spend would want to try to spend at least 2-4 days prior to 29 Feb... cos 29 Feb spent has a 70% chance it would post in March only:)

Hi DBS,

Thank you for the clarification. Could you also advise on the estimated time for the recurring payment to be approved and start?

Thanks again.

Does SG still use magnetic strip?

In SG, hardly. Next time you make CC payment, you'll see that the cashier sticks the card into the reader for EMV chip, they don't swipe the Mag Stripe.

Usually in the next month, but in some cases it may take 2 months. It depends on when you send your forms in and when is your billing cycle.

Thank you again, DBS. The billing cycle is referring to the SP billing or DBS credit card billing cycle?

Actually sometimes the cashier still swipes the card. Is it possible for the company to retrieve data when they do this?

The amount is up to $100 for 1%, after which will be 0.3%. DBS, please try to provide full and complete information so consumers can make informed decisions. ;)
