Help!!!! I got this ntuc plus credit card which im using mainly as savings acc atm. I received credit card bill 80 bucks annual fee. I call hotline n use their automated card waiver service......
Few days later, get their sms saying rejected my card waiver.
I tried calling their hotline to cancel card......
But couldnt get a human to pick up the call.
I called 2 numbers n 20 mins on.....i still couldnt get thru to a human. So now im stuck in limbo.
I feel it is stupid to pay the annual fee.
Short of going to ocbc bank branch to make a scene......im clearly lost.

Calling their hotline is a pain in the neck!
It's a test of yr patience and maybe stupidity!

If you hoping to talk to a CSO to get some empathy in yr appeal for waiver on late charges, fat hope!

The automated hotline will tell you the ony option for appeal is to leave yr contact behind and after many days of waiting, all you will get is a standard sms text msg informing you of rejection. No reason given. Just short and "sweet".

Try reaching their CSO to talk to, be prepared to waste 30 mins of yr life waiting for nothing!

I sent a couple of iBanking messages with reminders and all went unanswered. I sent a pm here to OCBC Bank's HWZ account and still yet to answer. And to think the question is about how to pay for the bill of a cancelled credit card.

Would like to check that if OTP will be sent while oversea doing online transaction?

Hi BlackCube,

SMS-OTPs will still be sent to your system-registered number. Do note that SMS might be delayed due to overseas Telco-system.

Now then appear wor.....tough day after all the atas lunches....n expensive high teas

I refer to your signature....

"We will do our best to respond to your posts as quickly as we can. However, outside of office hours and for urgent matters, please call 1800 363 3333."

I seriously doubt the words in BOLD....and have you guys ever tried calling the hotline yourself n see the response time?
Time when you select the option to speak to a CSO.....:s22:
(If lucky enough to find that option, that is....)

Hi vince,

We tried calling your number, as per our bank's record, but the phone was unanswered. We have also tried to reply to your PM, but the reply bounced as it stated that your inbox was full.

Could you PM us your preferred contact number , so that we may respond and make the necessary arrangements to call.

If not, you may also follow the steps below to make payment for a cancelled credit card.

• Go to "payment and transfer"
• Select “pay bills"
• Select “single bill payment” on the left
• Select “OCBC/ PLUS! credit card”
• Key in your previous FRANK Credit Card account
• Key in the amount and account to pay from
• Click on “next”
• Confirm the information and click “submit”
