Hi OCBC, I need to exercise my SIA rights entitlement in my CPF investment account. But currently my funds are not enough in my CPF, please advise if I can go to the branch to do a cash top up into the CPF investment account?

Hi there,

You will be able to top-up at our branches, however, do note that the cash top-up is voluntary and non-refundable in the event the Excess Rights Application is unsuccessful.

Customers are entitled to the Rights issue if:
customer has bought the shares before the ex-date
customer has sold the shares on/after the ex-date.

Customers are not entitled to the Rights issue if:
customer has bought the shares on/after the ex-date
customer has sold the shares before the ex-date

Do give us a call at 1800 363 3333, if you need us to check on your account.

Salary Credit

Dear OCBC,

I have given my HR the wrong branch code (690 instead of 609) for my new OCBC account. But the account number is correct.

I've notified my HR a few days after I did not receive my salary and they have submitted a recall request to the company banker (DBS) in early April. They claimed that they will write to OCBC for the recall request and wants me to lodge a case on consumer side. I've tried calling OCBC many times but I am unable to get more details (becos I am not the requestor).

Up to today, I have yet to receive my pay for March but I have received the April's pay. When I checked with my HR, she claims that the no news from the banker since then and asked me to contact OCBC again.

May I know what happens to the money when wrong branch code but correct account number is given? How long will it take to revert back to the correct account number? Is there anything I can do other than waiting?

Regards,

Hi OCBC,

Early April - I charged a retail transaction to my OCBC credit card and then applied for PayLite to pay by installments.
Early May - After 1 month, the merchant sent me an e-mail saying they have cancelled my order and sending me a full refund back to my credit card.

Given the transaction has been cancelled (order cancelled), I need not utilize PayLite anymore. Can I cancel my PayLite?

Hi there,

If the branch code given is incorrect, it is likely that the funds won't be able to go through, and will be returned to the sender.

We are sorry for the situation you are in, but we won't be able to advise you on this. Do inform your HR personnel to get in touch with DBS again on the status.

How to get onetoken OTP? I can’t do anything in my app at all!

Hi there,

Are you referring to the Token Key?

The Token Key is a 6-digit code, sent to you by mail, which you will need to enter once to enable selected transactions such as:

a. Add fund transfer payee and/or beneficiary
b. Transfers exceeding your limit
c. Change of fund transfer limits
d. Change of mailing address and contact details
e. Change of Online Banking PIN

If you do not have the Token Key you can still perform other transactions such as transaction or balance enquiries.

You can request via the Mobile Banking app or Online Banking website.

Mobile Banking
Step 1: Login using Access Code and PIN or OneTouch™ / OneLook™
Step 2: Tap on the menu bar on the top left of the screen.
Step 3: Tap on "Settings".
Step 4: Select "Manage OCBC OneToken".
Step 5: Select "Request for Token Key". It will be mailed to your registered address with the Bank.

Online Banking
Step 1: Login using Access Code and PIN
Step 2: A Push Notification will arrive at your mobile phone. Tap on the notification and approve the transaction.
Step 3: Go to Customer Service > Manage OCBC OneToken > Click on Request for Token Key. It will be mailed to your registered address with the Bank.

Hi sleeping_giant1820,

May we clarify if you are referring to the crediting of the bonus interest? Should you qualify for it, the bonus interest is only credited on the 7th business day of each month.
