Hi, I was trying to request for annual fee waiver for my 2 credit cards thru my ocbc iBanking app. Unfortunately, it pops up a message that my request was rejected and the decision is final. Can I request to cancel the 2 credit card then?

In his case, the annual fee waiver request will be submitted, upon the cancellation of the credit card.

Hi leemenghoe,

You may submit your request to revert to paper statement through Online Banking:

Login to Online Banking with your access code and PIN
Select "Your Accounts" under the menu
Select “Manage e-Statements”
Un-check the boxes for the corresponding account/s to revert to paper statement

Look under 'Revert to paper statement' for more details:

I participated in this 1% cash deposit (OCBC Deposits Year End Promotion 2019) last Dec 2019. Time tenure stated was 7 months.
My application was accepted via an sms notification on Dec 2019 .
My applied amount had been blocked off since then.
I had not move the fund in my savings account at all since then.

Would like to check is the promotion period over? When will the 1% payout be credited to my account?

"Please keep the funds on your account for at least 7 months from the date that you signed up, or from the date that the funds were credited to your account."

What is meant by this? Sounds very vague to me.

don't understand this bank, dont want to waive off when customers are using the card, but waive off he/she decides to cancel, makes no sense...

and after cancel, he/she can reapply, worst still, go and apply another bank's credit card, what a way to retain your customers...

Well I also cancelled my OCBC 365 card recently after holding it for many years.

Applied for the annual fee waiver online but was rejected and was told no further request will be entertained.

So choice lor. There are some things in life that you shouldn't pay for. One of these is credit card annual fee.. Haha

If you are on OneToken, you should be able to login immediately with the SingPass option.

Could you drop us a PM with screenshots of the login process you are seeing? We would like to look into it.

Other credit card companies does the same thing.
I guess it is only fair. Dun wish to pay, just cancel card.
