Do note that the calculator is for illustration purposes, and the actual interest you earn may differ.
For the calculator, the amount is calculated on per month (31 days) basis.

Do take note as well that bonus interest is also calculated based on the monthly average daily balance.

You can drop us a secured mail asking for a breakdown of your interest calculation, if necessary.

Eligible Assets Under Management (AUM):

• includes investments and deposits
• includes SRS cash balances and SRS investments with OCBC
• includes investments in Blue Chip Investment Plan (BCIP)
• includes the surrender values of endowment plans (only plans purchased from the bank will be considered)
• excludes investments in Roboinvest
• excludes Shares held in OCBC Securities

For SRS investment, only the deposit amount and investment products purchased by the main account holder, through us are included under our AUM. Other exclusions include securities purchased even if they are bought under OCBC Securities. For clarification on SRS investment, please leave your details via PM for us to contact you directly.

Recently I saw a post on a social media site, reddit, with a story citing that his/her OCBC account was wiped out without any prior authorization such as 2FA app approval/authentication nor SMS authentication.



May I check if there is any truth to that? This is very alarming and I hope to get any update or truth to it asap.

However, we assure all customers that our online platforms are secure and there are measures to prevent transaction fraud.

We recommend that customers take the following steps to keep their account details secure:

• Do NOT share any passwords or OTPs with anyone: Your bank will NEVER ask for your passwords or OTPs
• Report any suspicious activity immediately

More people need to know that SMS OTP is mainly a way to shift liability from the card issuer to the cardholder.

Thanks for the response, but are you going to publish something on your official communication channels or on newspaper to clarify this issue?

I am sorry but I feel you have to call out the customer as a liar in this case? I mean the link on the reddit probably had over 793 upvotes and who knows if this 793 will proceed to share and spread the news out to the rest of the people? And comments there are all are casting doubts on the security of OCBC.

And lastly, so the "customer" lied? In this case then POFMA should be used against this client to clarify such allegations.

I know recently the Pay Any Card service has been upgraded to use FAST and only works for Visa / MasterCard.

I would like to make payment for my UOB issued AMEX card. Will it work if I use the Pay billing organisation option, and pay to AMERICAN EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL INC. ?
I don't see UOB as a billing organisation on the list of options.

Please check with UOB on alternative payment methods.

Do note that the pay billing organisation option for AMERICAN EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL INC applies only for cards that are issued by AMEX directly.
