Hello OCBC, questions on BCIP.

1. After login to my OCBC account, noticed that I am not able to see the the profit/loss on my BCIP investment . Only the following information is provided:
1. Fund name / Counter name
2. Settlement Method
3. Holdings (units/shares)
4. Current Unit Price
5. Estimated market value

It would be useful to the investor to have a "Total invested amount" or "Profit/Loss" so that the investor can know the profit/loss to date. Or is this information hidden somewhere that we've missed?

2. I would like to increase my BCIP amount, is there a "step" amount that I need to maintain?
EG, if current monthly investment is $1000, can I increase to $1250 or must it be in step of hundreds (ie $1200 or $1300, but not $1250).

3. Will the "Lion-OCBC Securities China Leaders ETF" be available to BCIP?

Thanks in advance for the information.

Edit: added item 3.

1. The team is looking to enhance the Online Banking platforms to reflect details such as unrealised profit and loss. In the meantime, you can refer to the monthly BCIP statements for the average unit price invested.

2. For the amendment of BCIP investment amount, it can only be adjusted in multiples of $100.

3. We are looking to onboard the new CHINA LEADERS ETF to BCIP on August. It will be ready for investment for the month of September.

Do drop us a PM if you have further queries.

We have dropped you a PM.

Late and interest charges are levied when payment is not received by the due date. All waivers will be subject to review and approval.

We are sorry to learn of the unauthorised transactions on the debit card.
May we check if you have spoken with our service executive to block and replace the card, and also to raise a dispute?

Hi there,

From 3 May 2021, we will use FAST, a funds transfer service, to allow you to pay bills instantly – instead of waiting 3 days for payment to be processed – for credit cards issued by banks that also use this service. We regret that we will no longer support payments for credit cards issued by CIMB, HSBC, ICBC and Maybank as they do not use the FAST service. Please make alternative payment arrangements with these banks. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Hi there,

To update, from 11 June onward, customers can also make payment to ICBC.
Currently, we will not be able to support CIMB, HSBC, and Maybank payments as they do not use the FAST service.

We are working to bring you a better banking experience by allowing same day credit card bill payments for the affected banks' credit cards as well. While this is in the works, please make alternative arrangements.

Since you dont use it, why not just terminate it. The more cards you have, the more exposed you are, and potentially more fees you pay. Some people also bring their entire collections of credit cards out in their wallets, if they lose the wallet, good luck to them.

@OCBC Bank Hi I’m facing same problem with my late charge waiver. Could you please submit an appeal and look into it? It’s making me turn away from OCBC with all of these kind of poor service response.

I cannot PM you so please reply my message. Thanks.

Hi there,
Can we joint names for 3 persons for the monthly or saving account?
Please advise accordingly.

Hi there,

You may open the basic banking account with 3 joint names. You will need to visit the branch for joint-account opening. All account holders are the bring along their NRIC/passport. Thank you.

Hi Shahmatt,

May we clarify if your relative's account is a corporate account? Thank you.
