Hi ocbc, can you kindly advise what is a good time to call your hotline? Its forever engaged, I tried calling at 2 plus am last night, hold on for 10 mins and no replies. This is so frustrating!!!

I deactivated the Flashpay ATU function for my Frank card previously.
OCBC replied in HWZ that I can apply for the ATU for the Frank card at nets.com.sg . However, it has been a week since my application but I did not receive the activation code via SMS.

I called NETS and they told me that there is some issue with ATU application with OCBC cards. Can OCBC let me know when this issue will be resolved, otherwise can I request for a new Frank card ?

Does payment of other banks' credit card bills done on the same day count as seperate bill payment transactions for the 360 account?

For the ocbc plus credit card, does the purchase of NTUC brand items still qualify for cash back?

Hi koreanlover, the ATU application is under NETS and not within our control. However, you may apply for a replacement card if you need the Flashpay ATU function urgently. Do PM us your contact details so we can assist directly

Dear OCBC

I tried calling your hotline earlier, was put on hold for 25minutes and still no answer, i gave up and hung up.

All i needed was to enquire on what is the access code needed for logging in to internet banking. During account opening, i was not told what my access code is, neither did i receive any letters notifying me what my access code is. You can imagine how frustrating it is for me, when i need to log in, and cannot, because of this access code which i dont know about, and being put on hold for 25minutes when i call.

To be very honest with you, I have called the call-centers of many banks before at all kinds of timing, and this is the first time I was put on hold for this long. Most banks usually pick up calls really quick.

I am a new customer with OCBC, just opened an account 2 months ago. And i have to say i am really disappointed.

Hi OCBC,

If I use a purchased Flashpay card that is linked to Frank credit card for auto top-up, will I still get the 6% rebate for the auto top-up? Reason being is that when the merchant staff sees that I am holding the credit card, they always make me pay via VISA paywave although I specifically told them to pay by Flashpay. Thanks.

Yes, as long as the payment is done to separate credit cards, such transactions will be treated as unique payments and will count towards fulfilling the criteria for the payment bonus interest category.
Doesn’t matter if you perform these on the same day.

Separately, you can enjoy 5% rebate at FairPrice and FairPrice Online regardless of whether the purchases are Fairprice housebrand items when you charge a minimum of $500 monthly to your OCBC Plus! Also, is there a cap on interest rate like DBS's(2.5% for the first 8 years) from OCBC?

if nothing works ... suggest u go bank counter to enquire, they have to serve customer enquiry anyway

I have a few questions on the 360 account. Calling ocbc hotline is useless. Their damned cust service line is always experiencing "higher than expected call volume" regardless of whether u call past midnight or in a weekday morning.

The first is: There are 3 conditions to fulfill to get the 3.05% rate. Can we just fulfill 2 conditions and get a 2.05% rate?

Second is: When is the interest rate credited into the account? Is it at the end of every month or end of the year?

Last is: What happens if I miss 1 month? Lets say there is 1 month where none of the 3 conditions are fulfilled, does that mean that there will be no enhanced interest rate for the whole year? or just that 1 month is missed?

Same here. Wait for so long yet no reply regardless of what time of the day you call. That customer service hotline is pointless.

Sorry if this has been raised, but is it possible to open a savings account (e.g. MSA, Bonus+ etc) / time deposit without a basic account? :o

Also, for MSA, is the 0.4% p.a. interest flat regardless of the monthly contribution amount?

Hello Team OCBC,

I applied for the Frank card to consolidate my finances with the OCBC 360 account.

However, I was rejected with no reason given.

My income is definitely not an issue as it surpasses the requirement.

Is there anyone I can speak to appeal my case?

We're sorry for the delay in our reply. Review of any card applications is not entirely dependent on income checks. There are other checks that we will have to conduct before we can approve any account, including opening of a savings account. But we can certainly try to appeal the application for you.
