Got multimeter can check power supply.

But most likely TS don't have or don't know how to use.
Cheapest to test is cmos battery but you will also need to reset the bios iirc.

Can also try unplug all except one ram and hdd to see if it works. Using elimination method to see if those are the problems

These are the only things you can try easily.

Before that and if you are really noob in this.
Can consider do a video and WhatsApp show Nigel from sls. Video the main board reactions when you power on. Give as much details like the led got light up or not. I believe on the main board it may have some light

That guy heard is an honest folk. He from experience should be roughly can tell if it's cmos, mobo or psu. Mobo issue can be very erratic one. So provide the mobo model if possible.

Could be psu pai and not supplying power to either the 24v or 12v

12v is a must wor...
quickly plug it in and try!!!
it should be located at the top left corner of the mobo. it has 6pins and the connectors are 2x 3pins

As a general conclusion, if you can't even post bios, then it's either the motheboard or the psu. Since you are sure that the PSU is working, then only the motherboard remains.

:(
Tried the spare PSU again

Plugged in both the 24 pin and 12V this time

Same thing

The following is an experiment of someone trying to turn on a pc without cpu, ram and gpu.

Even without those components, the case fans (connected to the motherboard) should still be able to run after pressing the power button, assuming your PSU is ok as well. If case fans don't even move, then it's likely your motherboard.

Likely motherboard if you are sure your PSU no issue. Ram spoil, your other components (gpu, fans, etc) should still be on. Probability of ram spoiling is very low that's why ram makers offer liftime warranty. Even if CPU spoil, all your other components should also still be on on.

:(

Then is motherboard gg Liao.
Means the 12V on the motherboard is gg is it

Because using the original PSU, I just plug in the 24 pin and take out the 12V connector, it behaves this way

I plug in 12V also same thing

See my post above about trying to on without cpu, ram and gpu. Even if those components are not present, your case fans (connected to the motherboard) should still run when you press the power button. If they don't, I think can more less conclude it is motherboard issue, provided you are sure that the PSU isn't at fault.

remove ram, graphic card, hdd from mb. put in new cmos battery, reset cmos. turn on power, should hear error beep or see error code due to lack of ram, hdd..etc

if nothing, then change mb.
Change MB a lot need to change also, assuming current is dated technology. OS also need to reinstall; unless it was on ubuntu

When I press the power button,

The fan behind spins for 1 second then stops

No spooling up sounds of any kind like it's supposed to have

No beep sounds

What's the problem?
Test w another psu

No, I'm talking about psu fan. I'm talking about your case fan. If the case fan connected to the motherboard doesn't even run when you power on, then it is likely motherboard issue. Please see the two videos I linked in that post, they show that the person is able to switch on the case fans connected to the motherboard even without the cpu, ram and gpu installed.

When I press power button, only the exhaust fan at the back spins for 1 or 2 seconds then stops

The other 2 fans in front never spin at all

Then I think can conclude is the motherboard issue. Look at the videos below, even without CPU, ram and gpu installed, the case fans (exhaust, etc) were still able to run non-stop because the psu and motherboard were ok. And since you have determined that the PSU is ok, the only logical remaining thing would be the motherboard since your case fans can't run continuously.

But electrical issues may not fail alone. Electric surge could daisy chain and destroy more than the mobo. :(

I will probably change the psu too even if it appears working. :(

Eh paisay sorry

The 2 front fans got spin up

Just that they didn't make noise when I pressed power button, so I thought they didn't spin

But they actually did, when I turned on my phone flashlight to see

When you say that the front fans spun up, was it only for a second then stop like your exhaust one or were they continuously spinning like the ones in the video? The key point to note is spinning continuously, not just for a few seconds.

It still don't mean much.

The main board is connecting all the functions to work together.
If it can spin, means that route maybe okay.

It can also suggest that the psu can pass electricity, but how much is another question. :(

Earlier on we ruled the PSU out because he tried a different PSU on the same mobo and it was still the same issue. Of course, there is the possibility that both PSU also koyak but I think low chance ba.

All 3 fans (1 exhaust, 2 fans in front) spin for 1 or 2 seconds then stop
