any recommended place to do a calcium scan?
Anywhere that has the latest CT scan.

What's your age ?

If 40s and metabolically healthy, calcium scan is Ok.

If older and metabolically not healthy, go straight to CTA.

Anyone taking statin and probiotics? i seem to have started having high heart rate 85-120 at resting for 3 hours after 5 hours of taking probiotics. Polyclinic doctor said no need to take probiotic even if i need to.
Think most supplements does not interact with statins. I am on atorvastatin and still take my daily supplements including probiotics, vitamins, fish oil. Probiotics should not affect heart beat as far as I know

i also research online and and found no link too. I will try to switch back to my original probiotics brand as my issue started shortly after i tried switching to two other probiotics brands. Maybe i am allergic to certain probiotics and not reaction with statins.

Any reason why you take probiotics? For me it might be placebo since I’ve been taking for a long while and reading its benefits, or probably like vitamins… good to have but may not be really necessary

My IBS got suppressed and stools got a lot better after started taking probiotics. Daily eating banana and vegetables, lower sugar and caffeine intake didn't help at all. But i have been only taking it for 4 months so i still need more time to confirm if Probiotics really help with IBS.

Most people with high cholesterol is genetic. Its not the diet.
It is the diet and sedentary lifestyle - where the weight of fats accumulate at belly, thighs, mostly bottom, no?
The medns can be changed by doctor to mitigate the muscle cramps but better than getting strokes, no?
Salty diet also causes hypertension and strokes as well. In fact, longevity comes with at least one of the three Highs, haize123

maybe it's genetic. But diet definitely played a big part.

My Results after just a small change in diet. Lower sugar (still taking ice cream, chocolate etc) and also reducing amt of white rice. Stop eating McD, now just occasionally. Also taking milk thistle for fatty liver detected last year. Now continue for maintenance.

I have a question though... my numbers improved drastically.
But it seems now i have low white blood cell count ... any concern for that ?

I am not a doctor.

I guess it depends on how low.

If borderline maybe can close 1 eye, do some more tests and monitor trend.

If significantly, then there could potentially be a cause for concern.

Regarding your low blood cell count. Do you also exercise regularly and do a lot of cardio?

Hopefully it's something vitamins and sleep can resolve. Difficult for me to get enough sleep though, average 4-5 hours :(

The 3 highs all lead to blood circulation and clots, leading to strokes or heart attacks - no joke man to open brain/heart for surgeries
