Think most supplements does not interact with statins. I am on atorvastatin and still take my daily supplements including probiotics, vitamins, fish oil. Probiotics should not affect heart beat as far as I know

each capsule contains only about 0.4g of omega-3. if you are looking for a good source of omega-3, there are definitely better options/brands
What changes did you make in your lifestyle to achieve the better reading?

i never really make any big changes. i always eat less rice one, and usually run at least 5km two times a week. diet-wise, still eat fast food here and there. last year my result already very borderline, so actually this time I was expecting same kind of result

The improvement in LDL is visible. Good job.

Hi all

If ldl is high but lipo a is low. All else marker and blood test are doing fine. No pain no headache blood pressure ok. Is it ok not to eat statin?

At what level of ldl should we start statin? Above 190?

It seemed that there is home kit to test your cholesterol. Anyone tried?

Thanks

Not so straightforward, but please ask an expert for advice, not here.

Must look at other factors also.

family history, BMI, stress, sleep, BP, BG, age, etc

Even If all else good, LDL = 190 is really high. I suggest doing more tests like CIMT, Calcium, etc if you are mid 40s.
