I agree on that.. wrong tyre profile affect the speedometer..

i personally believe it won't affect the fc significantly but it still does.

but yes it affects the speedo, which in end, end up with wrong calculations.

Does anyone experience different fuel gauge reading after you pump petrol to full tank? Even when i pump my petrol to the brim, my fuel gauge sometimes will show 570-600km of fuel, the difference sometimes maybe more than 20km. Does anyone know why is that so?

my one lao pok car.. don't have such reading:s13:

but my perception is..
in over that 500km plus of journey.. factors which is not considered at that point of time would be example different road condition..driving style??

my lao pok lancer ex also have lor. when full tank shows 720 KM. sometimes 620KM. think it depends on the AVG KM/L calculator. when my Avg calculator shows 13 - 14KM/L when i pump it will show 720KM till tank empty. when i pump @ 10 to 12 KM/L it will show 620 - 640 KM till tank empty.

but for mine quite accurate la. coz when i pump when fuel left 1/8 or so. Avg mileage is about 11+ KM/L. so taking that calculation. ~11.5KM * 59L = 678.5KM for full tank of travelling distance. ~12.5KM * 59L = 737.5KM....

I thought I am the only one that has this problem, so how do i set the AVG KM/L calculator so that i travel more distance when i pump full tank?

actually i also dun understand what u mean
how many km travelled is depends on ur right foot rite?
maybe for this tank, u have many jams etc so u get lesser km
maybe next tank, lesser jam and more highway, u will get more km

My car uses a digital fuel gauge which I think it's quite common now. When I top up my fuel tank , it will reflect the amount of distance that I can travel with the fuel in my tank.
For e.g, when i pump full tank , the gauge will show 570km and value will decrease as u travel and when fuel tank is totally empty , it will show 0km .
My concern is when I pump full tank , the value (which is the distance that i can travel ) that I get in my digital gauge is inconsistent. Last wk I pump full tank I get 610km , this wk I pump full tank I only get 575km in my fuel gauge

The total distance is calculated based on your previous KM/L. If previously you achieved a lower FC then of course your total distance will be more.

ahh i see
could be the air inside
frequent jb pumper should know this

when u pump slow, u can actually pump more petrol into it
the faster u pump (pulling the handle max), more air/bubbles inside thus lesser petrol
diff petrol station or diff pump will have diff speed if u max the handle
