the U7K seems to be too close to Samsung and LG oled sets so the prices seems to have become less competitive and appealing
At these kind of prices, I'd get the Sony X95L instead.
Just discovered this thread. Bought in late 2022
My U8H is experiencing super blue tint. No matter what settings also still blue else becomes too red/green
Do I ask them to exchange? I rem past few pages about defects on earlier batch?
no u8k in sg for now. :\wait for the U8K. The U7K prices will drop.
I suppose the usual buyer wants to see discount.. so jack the price higher and then sell at 70% discountAt these kind of prices, I'd get the Sony X95L instead.
I hear that certain model comes with dirty screen and while it’s widely known, there is no recall. You need to log a call with the friendly support desk and they will most certainly help you out most timesHi Guys, was wondering if the TV have HiSense have warranty for Dirty Screen Effect and quite noticeable when the screen is playing dark movie scene? Notice this issue after a year.
$500 more than Sony 95L for 85 inch. Bunch of jokers
It is still cheaper than Samsung and LG.Yea it's strange that the prices of hisense tvs in singapore is so high, I was considering the u6k pro 65" but realised it is 30% less out of singapore
Found an issue since the firmware update. Now when playing videos using the built in media player application, the videos are stretched to fill the full screen instead of maintaining aspect ratio. So lets say for 16:9 videos the black bars are no longer visible but the stretch to fill seems to cause some cropping of the video to occur. Aspect ratio setting is blacked out and can't be adjusted when using the media player.
I use the built in media player to play 4k encoded videos since my tv box cant decode such files so this is a really irritating problem to have.
Nah....dont want to take the risk of tinkering with firmware. I just circumvent the issue by playing my movie files on a separate tv box. Stupid really because no idea why they had to go change something which wasn't even broke in the 1st place.someone report tis issue to hisense aus support and got new fw to solve
u may1 try or research more
U7G latest firmware added Viu app to the app store. Honest opinion, if you are looking for specific apps then best to avoid sets running on Vidaa OS. I been waiting for them to add MeWatch until neck long long. Faster and simpler to just go out and get a $20-30 tv box and sideload the apps you need. Crux of the matter is the sets Hisense SG bring in are models manufactured for middle eastern or other parts of south east asia so the default apps and firmware is not specifically targeted for SG use.Vidaa app does not have Viu? (u6k pro )
https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/comparison/593e25c614Hi guys, can someone advise me what is the difference between Hisense E7K and E7H?
I'm looking for a 43 inch.
Thanks.
