eh today when i went to collect keys for my sobf, got rejected because no job. my hle already approved when i still got a job, as of today hle yet to expire.

is there anyway i can appeal or get around this case while i am actively looking for a job?

savings is not alot, but i do have funds in cpf investment i can bring over. i brought up this to the lady, she said not valid reason also

did not ask, yesterday already sian 1/2, did not bother to ask. will email my sales officer to confirm.

Hmm, what is the difference between 'submit an HLE application' and 'Apply for an HLE letter (for credit assessment before the key collection of your new flat)'?

I've got a SOBF first appointment coming up, so i guess it should be 'submit an HLE application'?

Is the hle max loan calculator true? Or our hle amount will be way lower? Anybody knows? And also how long will hle take to process?

The loan I got is exactly the same as the calculator. Cos I used exact cpf balance and exact house price.

I submitted HLE request on wed, then Thurs they ask for additional payslip and I submit on the same day. Then the following Tues I got the HLE letter after they called to understand how to read my payslip.

What you mean by exact cpf balance and house price? You mean exact pay for the past 3 months isit?

Hey guys, my wife just got retrench last month and we have receive notification to collect our keys to our bto flat 2 weeks later. May I know if we will be able to collect the keys when she is out of job at the moment? I am still employed though, HLE yet to expire.

I don’t think there will be any issue since u are still employed. U have monthly cpf contribution right.

I am employed with CPF contribution, but my wife is not. My wife is drawing a higher salary than me though. Got a friend telling me no issue, keys can take. Another one said that it might affect the HLE as it was approved based on my wife's income when she was working.

doubt will affect but the loan amount might.
I suggest u to use the hle calculator and do a calculation base on ur current situation and then see how it is

Before taking keys. They will assess hle again ah? Like get both person payslip etc then will confirm the loan amount? Even if the current hle is still valid?

Hi all,

Need advice.

I am considering to use bank loan instead of HDB loan.

Currently i have went for my first appt. and selected unti, waiting for 2nd appt supposedly in 4 months. However i think i have already submitted my HLE during my first appt. Can i still change to use bank loan instead?

What is your main reason for going for bank loan?

Interests rate is going upwards, there is no guarantee your annual interests for this housing loan is going to be below 2.6%, after the 1-3yrs lock in period.

What convinced you to go for bank loan at this stage? Just curious.

For 1st app Registration and selection required valid HLE how about 2nd app Signing of Agreement for Lease also required valid HLE? Because by the time sign the lease maybe HLE already overdue.
