I ordered this under USD6 microUSB HUB from ebay.
Suppose to be able to charge your USB devices.

Downside is can only
1) Charge USB devices and USB OTG at the same time
2) Cannot Charge both Tablet and USB devices at the same time
3) But got option to charge either USD Devices or Tablet.

Apparently the design of USB OTG does not allow you to charge Tablet and USB devices with USD OTG at the same time.

wondering what browsers do you guys use? i like ie due to its speed on this little guy but can't block ads, love chrome coz i'm using chrome at work/home and its plugins and the keyboard auto pops up in inpyt fuelds but can feel its slower than ie, firefox feels like its neither here nor there

Chrome is slower on devices with weak CPU. Stick to firefox

hmm i understood it as, you cannot charge both USB and tablet at the same time?

I'm asking if i can use the usb devices while charging the tablet? but ok i think i get what you mean, seems like cannot because need to power the USB devices to use them in the first place

Quite irritating and cumbersome to be manual on it.

It is a design of the micro usb and the OTG in such a way that you can either read using the OTG or charge the tablet but you can't do both at the same time...to be able to do that is through hacking or modding the tablet...

Yeah I read on xda and some other forums that shorting+adding 100k resistor to pin 4 with pin 5 is a work around, might try that with my spare Galaxy Note first

Not sure if you have received a faulty tablet
you can probably try to ask in the Amazon product page to see if others faced the same issue
