setting it into webOS as default is better. there's a bug reported touchpad on by itself(boot into droid). and drain ur battery into 0%. i got this issue before. need to charge it like 4 hours before it's finally turned ON. lesson learned. :(

never encounter any major problem with my ICS alpha2 before other than random freezes. After installing ICS, i never ever use my webos anymore. i find that ICS is more productive for me with all the applications they have for android.

Thanks for the replies. WebOS runs fine but the lack of apps is annoying.

For WebOS, I've installed Preware and many patches to improve its speed and reliability. The Govnah app allows you to overclock your TouchPad to 1.5ghz. I used the WebOS mainly for productivity apps such as Email, Browser and Facebook. For CM9, I'm on Alpha 3 and I used it mainly for Games and some Children applications for my boy. Basically both OS are interesting in its own right. Dual boot is really great!

i'll do it for free. :) pm me if u want.

I think I did about 10 times liao. All FOC. All my colleagues'.

Compare between Android (ICS) and WebOS, I use WebOS more. I use the tablet mainly for web surfing and WebOS web browser I would is one of the best can find on mobile.

Try the Marketplace, there are people selling 16GB versions between 250-300. These are local sets with warranty between 4-8 months left. If you want "cheaper", go for those with US warranty only.

any place can get a cheap hp touchpad now?

I've installed Alpha 2 CM9. moboot 0.3.5 in my touchpad.

When I plugin to my PC, it says MTB device installed than it goes about installing device driver again. I wanted to transfer files into the touchpad but it isn't detected.

Edit : Found the answer.
1. Tap settings
2. Tap storage
3. Tap the menu button on the top right and choose USB connection settings
4. Check MTP connection

Dual boot into WebOS. See if it can detect the touchpad. Next download and transfer Alpha 3 into touchpad. Boot into CWM and install update. See if it helps. Remember to wipe cache and dalvik cache.
