I just tried,but it still say the requested item could not be found

U shouldn't even see any "requested item could not be found"....once u click the install link, it will install on the phone in the background. No need to go into Appbrain app or fast web app.

1) Microsd card, 4GB or 8GB in size...Recommend price, brand, speed, where to buy etc etc etc...

2) white colour leather case, flip with magnet type, fit nicely on our Legend, price, brand, where to buy etc etc etc...


3) screen protector, anti-glare type, price, where to buy etc etc etc...


Because i'm using a "naked" Legend, i just place into my trouser pocket, that's all

Brother, all the item you are looking for can be found on ebay. Most important is the screen protector from ebay very cheap (like 2-3$ each), try to look for case first sometimes they will bundle together with screen protector.

For microSD I'm using Team MicroSD 8gb Class 6 (also from ebay), if I'm not wrong the item located in Taiwan. Screen protector, etc normally china made (from Hongkong). If you buy in shopping malls, screenie easily cost more than 10$.

Still, after I bought all those item, end up now I'm also using almost naked Legend (with screen protector without casing). It looks much more beautiful this way

yeah just buy from ebay, i bought my sd card from a singaporean ebayer, cheaper then shop by a few bucks, anti-fingerprint screenie x3 for 5 sing bucks, and a black protector for 5 sing bucks i think. the best thing is, all sent to my house w/o me going out to hunt for them. legend being an aluminium sculpted phone, is kinda vulnerable, i got a small dent before i put on the protector.

For microSD i normally buy from Best Bargain at SLS, get a normal one would Class 4 8GB Kingston one..or 16GB if u have a lot of stuff u wana keep. Then if u have Apps2SD then u can consider a Class 6 but it's gona be more ex.

color note is good, just like stick it pad, can 'stick' individual notes on your homescreen.

if u r recording your phone bills, cc bills etc, use bills reminder. it will help u consolidate all your payment, and receivable amount. if you are one who forget your bills frequently, this is a good app for you.

For a good old notepad, I've been using AK Notepad. I also used One punch notes for small note/reminder that need to be pasted as widget

seems like cm34 nightly is out again.

just a quick question for those who tried out the new cm, whenever you port over to a new cm rom, say from 26 to 27, 27 to 28, etc, will your game data stay? when i port over to the latest rom, my angry birds data is gone despite all the backup.

i've been waiting for froyo out for legend until long neck already!

Kindly proceed to root your phone, then use the custom Cyanogen 6 Nightly Build V34 ROM that a lot of forumers are using.

This ROM is a modified version from the original Froyo. Those 3rd party developers have added a lot of customization in it.....


Hope this general informations help you to decide whether to root or not

There are 3 levels of "root" we can define:


Level 1: Shell Root (with ratc rooting the adb shell but no /system write access)
Level 2: Temporary Root (/system/bin/su installed but lost on reboot)
Level 3: Full Root (/system/bin/su installed and sticks)

good news, cyanogen 6.1 is out, not for legend yet though.
