Currently I'm using CM RC1 which is out just today. I don't think I will go back to official ROM. When official froyo is out for Legend, that will be good news to the ROM developers as well

do you know how to do super circle mod on RC1?

Very easy, go to http://circle.glx.nl/ (online kitchen)

Extract your framework-res.apk (use file manager and go to /system/framework, copy paste from there). Follow the steps given at online kitchen (will ask you to upload framework-res.apk after you customize your choice).

Download and flash the zip via recovery or ROM manager.

Most importantly do a nandroid backup beforehand!

First off, supposedly G2 (a NAND enabled phone like Legend) has been fully rooted via VISIONary r13. There are three to four people (didn't exactly count) reported a success root.

Good news! For those bros with rooted Legend who want to try rooted official froyo ROM (based on Vodafone UK version) it is available at XDA Dev forum! (since official OTA is not yet available for us, I believe)

Yes I also tried it last night, but I really miss CyanogenMod notification power widget

Another thing I really really want is CM Email application, I don't think I can set my exchange activesync email into push mode in official sense ROM

thanks for the info. i've read thr the instructions and watched some of the vid and i gonna say rooting seems like a very complicated process.

It is do-able although not very straight forward. But once you manage to root, you'll never look back

I think all flash is still from Adobe bro (HTC flash lite probably just modified version, essentially still the same). If you are referring full flash like those in Desire/ Nexus 1, our Legend most probably won't get it. Can dream on only

That's why I was surprised with the news of a Flash in Legend, I was expecting the HTC Flash Lite at most. Better than nothing, I don't surf Flash much anyway.

Heard that this flash version is better (able to open more flash sites) but don't know how true is that. Currently I'm trying to cook my own stock ROM (to remove all the unnecessary apps). One thing about Legend froyo, there is a nice smooth transition in between opening/closing apps.

RC1 for Legend is out - check download page for experimental build at cyanogenmod.com, you should move on bro it is much better in terms of features (and maybe performance).

If you really want to use Nightly, I think somewhere around v40+ is also stable (the latest is v60)
