fatthumb,

Have you already started using the new stock or cooked Froyo ROM, available for Vodafone ?

Hmm working fine on my Legend bro, try to off mobile data, sync, etc. Kill all running background apps and see whether it helps.

HTC already released Vodafone customers in the UK (branded) for a week or so.

We should get ours too but I'm not sure how soon is that.

Branded: your phone will be bloated with all those tele craps, e.g. Singtel/M1 apps, Singtel/M1 boot animation, etc. I think my Legend (from M1) is considered unbranded.

Actually don't need to unroot, even now I'm already using the rooted version of official froyo :)

XDA dev forum for Legend Android Development.

There are version from whitetigerdk and MoDaCo (paul o'brien) basically both the same (from Vodafone UK official ROM):

This one from whitetigerdk
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=841517

You can also cook one yourself from the official one with the dsixda kitchen tool (search at XDA forum) to add root, apps2sd, etc :s12:

Why you need a picture for a completely sense ROM. It's just a rooted stock ROM bro ;)

For cooking you will need to spend time to read, maybe you can try whitetigerdk ROM in the meantime :)

hmm, but then do it have life wallpaper? And the a2sd, do we need to create a partition for it? Or just there's a feature where you press it : Move to SD Card/Move to phone.

just found a rom that caught my eye ; SuperFroyo MVZ Legend 8.

Can any kind souls help me out with this? This superfroyo rom is it based on the offcial HTC Legend's version? And is there radio apps (The one in the original stock rom) which can be listened without using wifi/3G.

White notification bar I don't think you can get that with the current official froyo ROM. I tried to modify the notification bar with "UOT online kitchen" but failed.

Regarding official froyo lockscreen, you can try WidgetLocker (paid apps) if removing HTC sense is not an option.

Why don't you try CyanogenMod RC1 or 2? Superfroyo ROM is still in Spanish for some parts (bro foosoomin tried before) and it's also running on same kernel (2.6.29, HTC official froyo rom is using newer kernel 2.6.32) as CM RC1/2. You will be better of with CM RC 1/2.

Unless FM radio and white notification bar is very very important to you, if yes then you just wait for the official update, if you are unsure with whitetigerdk ROM.

only the unimportant parts are in spanish. the important parts are really already translated. And the kernel doesn't actually matter. Most of us do use the overclock kernel anyway.
