Problem solved !!!


The gapp file i used is this: http://mirror.teamdouche.net/get/various/gapps-mdpi-20100930-signed.zip


I followed the instruction from Post #230 here:

The difference is that i cannot use ROM Manager to install from SD card, that's because i didn't officially install that Clockwork recovery utilities.


So, i run from recovery mode, activate update.zip from android recovery system v2, then go to clockwork recovery wipe cache, wipe valik, then install the gapps zip file....


Reboot the phone, it prompt me to setup almost everything again, i followed....


Tada, successfully flashed all the standard Froyo apps onto Cyanogen 6 custom rom, even the custom apps stays too

yea i can understand that feeling! shiooooooook! and congrats, i dont like cm 6 currently because the camera is worst than the stock rom camera.

why 120 so bad? mine's hovering at 73~76 default.... which area do u live?

I'm staying at North East area & the signal strength i stated is when i'm at my study room. In front of my study room is another block of HDB flat, which blocked most of the mobile signal reception, that is why so bad


But if i go open area (outside my house), then the signal strength will be greatly improve

Huh? Like the default Home more than LauncherPro ah? Anyway, preference of their own I guess. LauncherPro is so much customizable. ADW too. Try it bro.

azure default home is ADW. It's personal preference that he likes adw alr

Oh, what i meant is operating at 787Mhz ensure smooth scrolling, swipping of front page left & right (dunno what it is called), bootup speed is much faster. Activating any program is fast too

No, I did not download the Setcpu from Market, i obtained the kernel files here:
http://dev.spice.net.au/legend/

I could not flash 768Mhz zip, as it prompted error on my device


In conclusion, with this overclock kernel files, our Legend is as good as HTC Desire (not to compare screen size, screen resolution)


Some forumers in xda forum managed to overclock it to 844Mhz

in terms of gaming, it's somehow the same as desire?? because i am just assuming mhz is related to smoothness only

Base on my usage before overclocking, the battery can last 1 day, it left about 20% at night


For overclocking, i'm testing it now. I fully charged the battery at 9.20am just now.......wait for my complete result tonight, i'll post here

This Cyanogen custom ROM already using ADW ? I didn't know what this is, haha.... But what i know is that it works just like HTC Sense UI, can slide to left 2 pages, right 2 pages

In terms of gaming wise, i don't know....However, when i run that Quadrant standard Benchmark test, the graphics scrolling damn fast & smooth man, even faster than stock Samsung Galaxy S (i have ever seen both stock Desire & Galaxy S running Benchmark test side by side on youtube)


Mhz stands for megahertz, for CPU clock speed, it is always stated with values, together with a Mhz......Go see Galaxy S CPU, they also write Ghz (stands for Gigahertz) right after the number

My phone progress now: 4 hours already & my battery power is left 76%, after a bit of web browsing, create NAND backup from Clockworkmod recovery, whatsapp texting conversation with friends, installed dropcap2 apps & tried taking some snapshots, installed covedesign apps to turn off the green LED indicator (a bug still in Cyanogen 6 Night build ROM) & received some emails from Hotmail email account


Will provide another report tonight
