Oopsie, I guess I posted the method for Android Nougat and earlier... Try this method suited specifically for Android Oreo 8.0 (the switch is relocated to 'Home Settings' in Oreo, suited for both U11+ as well as U11 with the Oreo Update installed): http://9to5google.com/2017/10/29/ho...ng-added-to-your-home-screen-on-android-oreo/

Yes you are right. M1 only black. I am waiting for translucent black or silver which looks like blue to me.

Not sure if those colours will come here though (although I still envy Malaysian fans of HTC which got that Translucent Black, at a more expensive price). And also HWZ failed to even post anything about HTC Singapore and M1's announcement of releasing the U11+ for sale either!!
The only reason I can settle for Ceramic Black is because of my preference towards features (and usability) than looks, and also the availability of a full coverage tempered glass made for the U11+, in black, meaning it will fit well aesthetically with Ceramic Black as well as Translucent Black colour options. Casings for it are also largely in black, including the Flip Case, Soft Silicone Cover as well as TPU Casing.

Haha no problem. I use Nova Launcher and the problem is gone. Cheers!

There is a bug in the sw. Don't enable the battery saving mode. In the past this mode is supposed to be on at a battery level you select (eg. 15%,20%...etc). Now once the button is selected, the phone goes immediately to battery save mode, the screen is too dim. With the mode un-selected, the phone will still go on the battery level you click on. Sounds confusing, I hope everyone can understand.

Didn't activate it. I find display brightness on dull side :(

Switched to Mate 10 Pro?

I am always getting the Customizer Update when I boot up the U11+ despite cancelling the update. I think it will always come up after every reboot.

Anyone knows how to remove that message? The Singtel customizer update has Dash and other stuff I do not use. Did you guys install it?

P.S - U11 is a BEAST. Everything is freaking fast. Coming from an S8 that is...

Better camera too. Did a side by side sample blown up on my PC. The U11+ consistently took better detailed photos with color accuracy. S8 always seems to be abit more punchy on the colors but I think almost all recent Galaxy phones does that to the photo. But can't beat the sharpness and detail of the U11+. Will test for night shots and see how it performs.

BTW, Samsung Gear S3 works fine with my U11+. Getting notifications promptly and Samsung Pay on the S3 works fine too.
