I think one of the main changes in the update is the security version is now Dec 2017 Liao. Still 3 mths behind though

Updated mine to 1.24.400.4 as well just a while ago. Find animations and notification pull down very sluggish. Only animations seems not smooth anymore.

So far performance around the same. Not really sure what are the big fixes. Will evaluate battery life in the next few days. Will clear my cache and review.

EDIT : After clearing cache, the animations seems back to normal. Smooth!

I thought to do screen capture is to press both power button and vol down key simultaneously? Then it will ask when you want to do with the capture.
That's to do screenshot. No problem with that. As in once you screenshot, there is a tool to crop and do adjustment to the screenshot.

Looks like notifications has been centralised system side now after the update. Meaning SMS, Gmail and many apps will only use the default notification sound. Anyone can confirm?

Thanks!

This was an issue with the previous TW firmware, but after the 26 Feb updates, I can set different notification sounds for the apps. So it should be resolved for sg sets by the next update.

I have been seeing some reviews on the S9, and it seems the Pixel 2 still has better photos. And the U11+ is almost similar to the Pixel 2 interms of image quality. Pretty impressed with the way the U11+ is holding up so far and love it. Just hope the HDR update and the security patches can be released sooner. We are lagging behind by 3 months.

For those that want to know, my Samsung Gear Sport and IconX works perfectly but for the following :

1) SMS Messages comes in a thread format when pushed to the watch and sometimes notifications can be abit confusing to read as the latest one is not prioritized first. It comes in a thread format so you have to scroll down for the latest message. At least for SMSes so far using the default one from HTC.

Whatsapp messages now cannot reply directly from the watch but that is an issue with the latest Whatsapp update. This can be solved by running the latest BETA of Whatsapp as follows :

https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/whatsapp-inc/whatsapp/whatsapp-2-18-81-release/

Download Whatsapp 2.18.81 BETA.

Even for the phone itself, I find some of the latest notifications do not sit at the top making it abit difficult to see the latest one. I hope the new update can solve that problem.

2) IconX works perfectly fine with the U11+ and find that the sound is much more stable on the U11+ than it ever was on my S8. My S8 used to have audio drops randomly but I guess that is also quite common with alot of Bluetooth headsets. On the U11+, with my same usage and place where I use, I have yet to discover any drops in audio with perhaps just a faint drop once or twice only.

Hope this helps those on the Samsung Gear Sport and the IconX.

For the past 2 nights, I experienced ~10% battery drain overnight even though I set the phone to airplane mode. My overnight drain used to be ~2% with airplane mode. I tried to restart and wipe cache partition last night, but it doesn't help. Does anyone experience the same thing? Any suggestion what causing this and how to resolve it? I didn't install any new apps for the past 2 days. Any recommendation on the list of apps to disable? Thanks.

Go to app->app info, choose "show system" then search for htc. You should see a app called HTC function test, force stop the app and the battery drainage will be better for a few days. After that you will have to restart the phone and do that all over again.

It's a problem which is supposed to be resolved in the latest tw firmware but .. .. ..
