Floating market is gonna be a waste of time nothing much and pretty dead the time I went. Santorini most shop are close but some location decent for photo taking

yes i did it within 1.5hr leh , no jam straight from Hua hin soi 4 to DMK... Thanon Phetkasem > Rama 2 > DMK Motorway , 1130am start -1pm reached on a Tuesday , my son slept peacefully all the way.

i rented from Avis Thailand , Honda Jazz.... all extra stuff i clicked away. hope it helps....

1. Is 3D2N sufficient for HH?

2. Hotels/transport there expensive?

3. I'm carrying along a big luggage. Should I stay like 2D in Bkk then hire a taxi to go HH and then come back to Suvarnabhumi Airport for my flight back to SG? Or shld I directly hire a taxi to take me to HH upon my arrival in BKK?

I suggest you stay one night at bkk first then keep your luggage there and bring one backpack to hh. You can take taxi to bus terminal and take van to hh. 3d2n is enough and transport there is kind of hard so suggest you rent a car or motor. If not wrong my gf rent motor 200baht one day

what he mean is that after you stay 2 days in bkk. check out and keep your luggage with the belldesk. bring a backpack to keep clothes for your Hua hin trip. then last night back to the same hotel to collect your luggage.

hua hin hotel are not to expensive unless you want those good hotel's

there very little taxi and tuk tuk. Mostly people will use motor taxi or songthaew. But of coz some area maybe hard to go because out of the town.

another option will be to leave at Suvarnabhumi Airport left luggage @ THB50 / 12 hour (from website)

take coach from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Hua Hin
return back to Suvarnabhumi Airport to collect luggage for your flight back home

@turtlezhu: sorry I mean Plearn Wan Shopping Village, not Cicada market! I haven't been to the latter.

I say avoid Plearn Wan because it's just a fancier version of bugis village. The stuff sold there are what you can easily find from the streets but at tourist prices.

Plearn Wan is pretty boring yea can give that a miss.
