Had been using it as a std tablet and tool the plunge today..

1. App
- cant find youtube...but it makes sense. In a pc, there is no youtube. Need to go through browser
- stylus app works fine

Will need my typecover to complete the experience

Yes hdmi to type c
Else, i had tried vga to hdmi...then a hdmi to tyoe c.
Have to play around the male/female part

Two adapters is too much lar... the degradation of image quality would be too much... shouldn't need VGA anymore... unless your monitor or tv doesn't have a digital port like HDMI or DVI or DisplayPort...

I still hv vga monitor
If i'm at home, will use laptop for most work
Ipad pro for web surfing
On the move, will b android tablet (prefer gaming on android)

Just collected folio keyboard.
Was surprised that there is a keypad...and the "stand" ...very surface like.(hinge and reqd some force)
Impress as of now. Will attached to tablet later.

It is exclusive for M5pro (which had the pen)
I advise you sell off the tab s3 now..(the rpice is gd...before it gets erode when tab s4 release)

Confirm you really did managed to connect your mediapad m5 pro to your monitor ? via type c to HDMI or VGA.

Cos i read in another forum that says Huawei disabled video output, type c to HDMI... That sounds disappointing as i wanted to project to the bigger screen when working on documents at home.

Have you tried remote desktop to say office PC ?
Does that work via the desktop mode?
