Have you set the default apps into Gmail?

Go to settings -> apps & notification -> default apps -> email

Then you can choose from a list email client...

Tried... Tap on email link still open email app by default

Regarding the email, r u all checking office or ur own gmail acct. If I need to check office, I go through browser with address end in OWA. As for gmail I just type gmail.com and login. I dont set email for push notification.

Thought it was a chrome setting
Disabled email and it worked. So seem to be a huawei setting instead.

Probably you have some rogue app running in the background? Like FB?

Yup Smart Resolution not so smart. Switched it off and went with full HD. No issue with scroll screen shot or multi views

May I know if I want to extract text from my screen (either website or app etc), is there a way to do it on Mate 10? I used to do it on Samsung Note with the stylus but I understand not all phones have this function. Thank you!

Has anyone mentioned about the Huawei mate 10 auto reboot issue? My mate 10 reboots 2 to 3 times a day without me doing anything. Wonder if there is a fix to this beside factory reset?

Print screen
Save pic into onenote
Go to one note on pc, sync it
Right click on picture, select copy text

Realise mate 10 doesn't have built in OCR so I may have to download a 3rd party app?

Yes 16:9 always good when watching YouTube as nowadays most phones are 18:9 etc.
Which phone were you using previously ? What’s your impression of so far ?

Mi Mix 2. Camera on the Mate 10 is very good compared to the Mi Mix 2 and not having to carry around a headphone jack dongle is so much more convenient. Everything seems so much bigger on the Mate 10, and it's kinda fat

Try factory reset. My mate 10 also does that before I hand over it to my wife. After I did a factory reset I don't see that issue.

Mate 10 pro totally has no such issue.

Try the backup and restore function?
But some social apps like wechat and line are unable to preserve the chat history in the conversation box if you do so.
Other apps should be no problem.

My Mate 10 seems to be changing the brightness on its own depending on the app that I'm currently in. Is there anyway to disable that? I've already turned off auto brightness.
