Actually I am not sure what features to expect in EMUI 9.. I just want them to update the camera software to make it better..

Currently the night time camera, really looks like oil painting...

Look for the app Fluid NG. Much better than the default gestures by emui on mate 20.
You can use that with mate 10

9.0 is listed in Firmware Finder already for Mate 10 non pro.

So should be live within a month, base on past firmware roll out speeds. Maybe 2 weeks or so can get it I think.

Oh..so just enable fluid ng in accesibilty and thats it?

1) the whole phone scrolling seems jittery after using fluid ng
2) how to swipe bottom without the original bottom navigation bar popping up? is there a ways to permanently hide the bottom navigation bar?

*edit: ok after messing aroun with it, this really not bad. increase the sensitiviy and the area to swipe and its all good. now just need to permanently delete the bottom dock for bottom swipe

Normally takes about 2 weeks to get approved.

But using Indo SIM seem to trigger the update faster, compared to SG SIM.

But yeah, can take up to 1 month

But at least it's already in the motion, they skipped 8.1 for non China as I wanted the updated camera app and ability to disable AI for cam.
