What launcher are you using? I'm using Nova Prime and my battery stays at 100% from 11pm till next morning when I wake up. Doesn't even drop a single bit even though it's not connected to the charger.

I saw a news story gsmarena that EMUI 9.0.1 has been released for P10 with January security updates. It weird we are still not getting it..

EMUI 9.0.1 comes with the January 2019 security patches, and it's based on Android 9 Pie like EMUI 9 was before it. EMUI 9 with Android Pie was released in Asia for the P10 and Honor 9 back in December of last year, and it's nice to see Huawei and its sub-brand still keeping the new software builds rolling out for these phones that are getting pretty old by mobile world standards."

my theme is black, but when i swipe down its colorful..

Previously when you press the volume button, it will direct show the volume slider for media and ringtone. Now you can only choose either media or ringtone as default. Press the "cork" and it will bring you into the setting page. Not desirable as you will have to move away from your current screen.

My resort, I changed it default to media volume. Not gonna adjust the ringtone volume so often anyway.

Yesterday I did the system update and regretted it.
The whole UI looks so weird now.
My picture albums are now disorganised.
Does anyone know how to reorganize it?

Yes, and the worst is the volume to control the ringtone and media.
So difficult when one is driving.
Last time just press on button and the whole thing gets displayed.
Now have to press that button then look at the screen to press another thing before being able to access the volume.

They took away the easy access to change volume but added the option to default which volume to be changed by volume button. Yes and Nay. For me it's more Yes as now I can change my media volume more easily.

Yes, i need to.
Cos usually I turn off the media volume while driving with the GPS on when driving on familiar roads.
But sometimes I need to deviate from the usual path and that's when I need to on the media volume. Now I can't control it easily.
