Okay! These are the apps:

1. PhotoDirector
2. Flightradar24
3. KFC Delivery
4. Google Earth

Among them, No 2 and 3 are super-duper important to me!

I could installed easily above app on my mate10 ( msia version). It is strange you are unable to do it

BTW, the one big complaint I have for Mate 10 is its low vibration intensity.

Most of the time, I can't feel a thing when long press the Fingerprint button to go Home.

Ya there is no option to adjust vibration intensity

i can feel when doing long press, but when the fone is put one side when i driving, if someone call i cannot feel the vibration.. i usually set to silent mode.

OK I did investigation and I believe that this data is not available anywhere on web. It's about the audio handling of the Mate 10 Pro USB-C audio output, whether digital or analog.

The USB-C output for audio, is both analog AND digital.

Analog proof: M10P comes bundled with USB-C to headphone jack converter. Insert converter into Mate 9 or Samsung 8, no sound. Insert into M10P have sound. Result: converter is not a dac, it is an audio bypass physical format converter.

Digital proof: M10P comes bundled with USB-C earphone. Insert earphone into M10P, have sound. Insert earphone into M9, P10 etc. (both have digital audio out via USB-C courtesy of Android 7/8 but no analog audio out) have sound. Result: earphone is not a normal earphone with USB-C jack instead of earphone jack, it's a real USB-C earphone with DAC inside.

Perhaps the s8 and m9 omitted the analog audio pinouts in their usbc ports thus causing it to have no analog audio output. Also those two phones have dedicated 3.5mm outputs and perhaps their designers felt unnecessary to include in their ports.

I guess all third party usbc to 3.5mn adapters can be used right?
