There is still a wakelock from the audioserver that is not going away so let's hope Huawei slowly iron out the software.
The phone has alot of potential despite some shortcomings

I must admit it lah! I sold it coz I think that I wasn't suitable for the phone!

Don't get me wrong, folks! Mate 10 a good phone with such a reasonable price tag!

However, I think that I'm looking beyond / other than the awesomeness of Mate 10, moving forwards lah!

I bought the mate 10 about a week ago to play.....however I notice a issue immediately...my unit lower half of the screen is yellowish.....n I find that even though it’s 2k screen, the Color appear lack lustre....performance is pretty good...just the screen disappoints

OK I did investigation and I believe that this data is not available anywhere on web. It's about the audio handling of the Mate 10 Pro USB-C audio output, whether digital or analog.

The USB-C output for audio, is both analog AND digital.

Analog proof: M10P comes bundled with USB-C to headphone jack converter. Insert converter into Mate 9 or Samsung 8, no sound. Insert into M10P have sound. Result: converter is not a dac, it is an audio bypass physical format converter.

Digital proof: M10P comes bundled with USB-C earphone. Insert earphone into M10P, have sound. Insert earphone into M9, P10 etc. (both have digital audio out via USB-C courtesy of Android 7/8 but no analog audio out) have sound. Result: earphone is not a normal earphone with USB-C jack instead of earphone jack, it's a real USB-C earphone with DAC inside.

Means the sound can be as good as LGV30 when using the supplied earphone?

Only bottom of the screen is yellowish? If so, just go get it replaced?

If you are used to AMOLED, LCD just can't compared when it comes to brightness or saturation. Besides that this LCD isn't that bad
