End up gotten a brown 10 pro as the blue isn't the blue I was hoping for, compared both mate 10 and pro but prefer the grip of the pro. Guess for now need to find a screen protector and casing.

Both should be good. But what made me get the pro is because of the curved sides and the smaller battery capacity on note 8. Some might argue the lack of 3.5mm jack and sd card slot. Personally i find the 128gb should be ample enough. Lack of audio jack not a dealbreaker since the battery should be able to last longer usage

if i'm not wrong it comes with a usb-c to 3.5mm adaptor. shouldn't be a problem for those of us still using wired earphones.

yeah, was considering the flip case ($68) but then again I asked myself, would i have bought the case anyway?

and the answer was no (cos it'll just add to the bulk and weight). i usually use a back case only and the phone comes with one. so i didn't go for the lazada one.

the $110 from qoo10 was enough to affirm my decision.

anyone got problem syncing their emails? i turned auto sync on so i manually pulled down the list. the last sync time is whenever i manual sync it but no emails are coming in.
