Yeah, coz of the better battery life of the huawei mate 10 pro.. read from reviews that it can tahan more than 1 day between charges...

And can't stand my S8+ getting more and more laggy every day... Hope the AI in huawei mate 10 pro lives up to expectation to prevent system slow down after using the phone for some time...

Although I know that S8+ has better screen + 3.5mm Jack + 5.0 bluetooth + sd card as compared to huawei mate 10 pro, I can live without all these.. willing to give huawei a chance.

Ha! Samsung infamous TouchWiz lags. Only Samsung can make such crappy products

Both cable and charger are different from regular ones. Cable can support to 4.5A, if you want to buy from 3rd party, make sure it is stated to support Huawei supercharge

I haven't got the phone yet. Because I read that Poweramp doesn't display Poweramp correctly in the lockscreen on Mate 9. So it not happening anymore on Mate 10?

Anyone with the pro noticed any blue tint if view phone at an angle (using white background)? Nowadays, it seems the OLED display on a number of the phones (pixel 2 XL, iPhone X, LG V30) having such problems. Samsung panels on the other hand haven't got such issues.
The other issues with OLED is burn-in after sometime which was also reported on pixel and iPhone X.

went in and saw they buy the chiong cable at lazada/taobao cheap.

abit late, i go order the original cable @ $18 from lazada.


are those charging cables on par with the original ones? cos my belief on cables is that I try to stick to original, i never used chiong cables.

That baseus cable seems to be compatible with m9 m10 that can support to 5A

i think still early to tell. i was using Mate 9 and the battery was only 'good' after awhile.

i went to bed this morning close to 3am at battery level 98%. woke up, was about 86%. seems that my 'mobile network' is active all these while.

I think it's a common problem with all Android devices. I toggle between iOS and Android devices frequently, and notices that it is very common for Android devices to lose massive amount of battery overnight. I suspect the culprit being background apps that are still running. Although you don't see them in the task manager, I am sure there are rogue apps that secretly runs. For iOS devices, I don't see such a problem unless the battery is very old. Even this 2 plus years old iPhone 6S I am using still holds out very well overnight, I.e. On an average, I observed only 1 to 3% battery lost overnight.

I think it depends on you. The key difference from Mate 10 Pro to Mate 10 is mainly,
1) Display (Better contrast on the Pro, but lower resolution) and its bigger without the phone getting too big
2) Storage (128GB vs 64GB UFS 2.1 storage, but no expansion on the Pro)
3) Water proof (Mate 10 Pro) vs Splash proof (Mate 10), but lost of 3.5mm audio port on the Pro.

In a nutshell, each advantage of the Pro version is somewhat counteracted by some form of disadvantage. My preference is Mate 10 Pro mainly for point 1 and 3.
