Me too holding back on getting it coz of those bugs :(

Just cancelled my order at qoo10 for a Mate 10 pro Mocha.
I was really looking forward for this phone since it had ir blaster + large battery + ip67 but since some significant amount of bugs reported here especially the "ghost brightness" that simply goes high or low on its own even under manual mode is a total turn off me, I know the annoyance of this feature during the days when I used to root my android devices and came across this bug. Super irritating.

Really appreciate those who reported such bugs here. I do hope you guys receive an update asap from Huawei.

This is happening even in my mate 9 pro. But not on my mate 9. Guess it's how Huawei is handling the AMOLED panel.. Coz all affected phones are only the AMOLED and not the LCD screens.

Since, my mate 9 pro is still having this issue, I can clearly say that it may not be on their high priority list and can't expect a fix soon

This is not something I observed when playing around with the units in the shop.

My stock charger is charging my mate 10 at turtle speed...only 1000 mA. That's at 40% battery level. Anyone facing the same issue? I'm using Ampere app

My oneplus 3 requires a reboot in the morning for bluetooth to work.. If not no audio for media. This is already weird.

Now mate 10 issue worse. Every few mins drop to speaker... And listen to radio cannot play game lol...

my mate 10 if connected to speaker via bt, it wont drop and will stay connected all the way. most of the time at work will connect to speaker to listen radio, so far never encountered dropping.

As cmf by bros.. I have also verified. This is feature of Oreo. Your steps not able to resolve this.

U can only delayed it and hide it. An hour later, it will appear.

This isn't a recent article but could those with auto brightness issue download and test out Lux app, set to manual mode under Lux app settings, and see if the brightness remain constant while the auto brightness disabled and do report if it works.

Problem 6: Unable to eject the SIM tray

Some users have reported that they were not able to eject the SIM tray out of their smartphone. There can be several reasons for that to happen.

If you are not able to eject the SIM tray, you can follow the steps below.

Solution:

Make sure you using the SIM tray tool provided with the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro. It is in the same box the smartphone shipped in depending on the region, it may be in a cardboard envelope.
If you don’t have the SIM tray eject tool, you can even use a paperclip to eject the tray from the smartphone housing.
Do not try to pry the tray out; otherwise, you’ll damage it permanently. The only way to take it out is by putting the tool into the small slot located beside it.
If the tray is still not coming out, you’ll need to take your smartphone to a certified Huawei technician.

Lol wa cant believe this issue is listed inside....cos i have experienced it and was a bit disheartened to receive a new phone with "faulty" sim card tray.

turns out i need to push more force to eject it.

To be honest, I never turn on auto brightness, it consumes more battery.

Sent from NEXUS 6P using GAGT

If a manufacturer implements auto brightness properly, it is actually very pleasant as it will brighten the screen under strong lighting, or dim when it gets dark so that it is not too uncomfortable for your eyes.

Switching it auto off and making it dimmer may be good for battery, but strains your eyes. You can manually adjust it, but again, I don't think you will be saving loads of power by doing that.

I find the current auto brightness working well. Kept it on for my previous phone and using it on my mate 10 too. Visible and not too glaring even on sunlight or indoors. Save my hassle to adjust the brightness manually.
