Bro... Mate 10 will be

1st phone with full blown AI chip inside and most probably going to have AI acceleration for some apps

1st phone to have oreo Android 8 inside, with trebled capability meaning it's going to be able to upgrade OS without touching proprietary drivers, means any aosp compilation os for the phone will be able to update it (I understand Treble from Google press releases)

If rumors are right F1.6 lenses 3rd generation dual camera

Let's hope they fixed the mobile data usage control so can change the billing cycle date on Android Oreo. I'm also waiting to see what cool new features coming to this phone especially the AI stuff

Will your warranty void if unlock bootloader? If void warranty, it will be a big turn off as you can install any asop with locked bootloader

I agree. I had the Mate 9 for a while. The hardware was great but I am not a fan of EMUI. I have the OP5 now and the hardware is not as good but I really like OxygenOS.

If Mate 10 is $998, it would be competitive. Because it's chipset would not be faster than IP8 A11, it would most likely be lagging behind, with only the new AI etc stuff to separate it from the competition. Good for the consumers

More fresh meat: Mate 10 will probably be the phone with the fastest 4G, 256QAM and 5 carrier aggregation etc. 1 quarter ahead of Qualcomm, who had to test with a frankenstein chip (mix mash of various chips) to achieve the speed of Huawei (production chip).
