Anyone know how to transfer all data from Samsung Note 5 to Huawei Mate 10? Best is phone to phone transfer?

huawei can do full phone clone. everything will be transferred over..

there's a data transfer under settings > system > data transfer.

u can do a full transfer from your old phone. just need to download one app - phone clone. from the phone u wanna transfer over from.

The home screen icon at the bottom seems limited to 4 icons if I use the drawer option.
Is there any option to increase it? Other than creating a folder.

Select Settings. You can disable HiBoard there.

Between huawei phones yes but not from note 5 to mate 10. Apps got transferred but data will be lost especially WhatsApp and Viber cannot do this way.

This method is good also to backup your apps and data in event next time you want to reset phone, can use this method to restore.

whatsapp gotta do separately but other stuffs got transferred over.

like contacts, sms, even calls history, photos etc... all can transfer over.

when i was doing my recontract at singtel, i just pass both my fones to huawei promoter and he helped me transferred everything over, but whatsapp he do seperately. so i was at the counter doing my recon while the phone clone was in progress.

everything was done even before i went to make payment.

Yes. But with other phones only apps get transfer, apps data lost.. contacts, SMS all these are easy to transfer

icic, thanks! cos first time using huawei fone. was quite amazed when they first helped me wife cloned all her stuffs from note 4 over to her p10+

cos seldom transfer stuffs so not sure whats the best option available.

Hmm... Running Oreo too early has its negative side.

4 of my Apps are not compatible with Oreo. Cannot install yet.
