google never include ear piece ba
most only include dongle

Yup. Google didn't include. But many others have, Huawei definitely isn't the only one.. Still rather they include dangle with 3.5mm headphones. So can use with other devices not only USB c ones.

bro, is your phone rooted?

any issue so far?

the phone is not installed with too much bloatware, and it's blazing fast already.

I'm so very impressed by the battery.

went to bed at 1am with 65% battery left, and it's still left with 31% now.

I recalled I was able to download and applied themes from the theme app. Although, I'm not using any now since I've switched to Nova and icon pack plus my phone also debloated. I've the m10 pro btw. I guess you've already factory reset the phone and still hv this problem? Which FW on ur phone?

Hi guys, ignoring price, memory, audio jack and size. Which would you recommend, mate10 or pro if only based on screen and battery life?

Mate 10 used by friend is all stable and good. Heard there might be some issues with pro but couldn't pin point anything wrong with it.

Why don't you go and check it out at the store? Some prefer colors to pop while some prefer more natural colors. So it's best you decide for yourself. I don't have much issues with my Mate 10 Pro.

For me, the phone loses about 30 plus percent each day, so I usually only charge it every 2 days. Battery life is great, at least while it's still new.

The Pro definitely has a brighter screen. So side by side, the non pro pales..

But where it shines is on the wider screen surface. So it's not as narrow. I'm now so used to my non pro that I find other phones "small".

Next will be whether you prefer front or back fingerprint sensor. I like the front sensor of the non pro as it's fast to unlock. Now training my mind to use the sensor for navigation (without the bar).
Don't have to pick up the phone to unlock (useful since there's no Double tap to wake / face unlock).

Battery wise I think the pro has an edge due to AMOLED screen.

haha..thanks, but just asking for actual user reviews. shop can only see so much. read about screen having lines etc. battery performance can also only be known from users after few weeks of usage.

thanks for that! the screen dimensions were one of my considerations too, with inclination towards the wider screen. but am guessing i can overcome that as the pro is similar to my v20.

thumb on the home button is very intuitive.

I just dump my v20 for the mate 10. seriously I have no regrets, the battery is so much longer lasting.

comparing both m10 and m10p, I felt that m10p which is slimmer, is a little more comfortable to hold and key. I would have like to type my keyboard using 1 hand. but the 18:9 is still not optimum for single hand keying. s8 is has the perfect width.

so just go with the m10 to save 200$.

anyone has problem with apps not syncing over wifi/Bluetooth in the background (app not open)?

e.g. i have set camera upload to my dropbox account over wifi. but whenever i close the dropbox app, the camera upload will not work. i need to open the app then it'll resume uploading.

i'm getting quite bothered with the way the phone manages apps both open and in the background. it seems to kill all background sync completely when we close the app? is that supposed to be that way? my previous Sony's don't behave like that. any remedies?

also still having similar problems over Bluetooth with my smart watch (Garmin) as well. once close app, the Bluetooth will disconnect. have to open app again. lydat i need to keep all the apps open???

I believe the problem is related to the Android 8 (Oreo) new battery management system and also the individual app, I not using Mate 10/Pro but on Mate 9 currently.

After my Mate 9 upgrade to Oreo, I had problem with Samsung Health that stop counting step when screen off, I'd no such issue before the upgrade (which is on Android 7), even I change the app from auto to manual manage still doesn't solve the issue. However, the strange part is Google Fit and Huawei Health is working well even when screen off.

So you previous Sony no issue I presume it is because it is run previous Android version.

OP5T
- stock android experience
- 8gb ram for better multi tasking
- dash charging
- no IP67 rating
- no warranty

M10P
- better camera
- larger battery, better battery life
- super charging
- 6gb ram (not bad for multi tasking also)
- IP67 dust and water resistant rating
- 2 years warranty (3 months for accidental screen damage, used to be 1 year but seemed like they reduced it to 3 months. maybe because now they getting popular? lol)
- can project to monitor by using a usb C to HDMI cable

other then that nothing i can think of already. see which do u prefer having

Oneplus 5T battery is also very good. I can easily hit 6hrs SOT. Officially no water resistance but people in YouTube has tested with water immersion and find it safe. So for accidental stuff with water should be good. OP5T also a amoled and its from Samsung. Huawei is from China.

anyone can share their experience with the camera/display of the Mate 10 Pro?

Torn between this and the V30 though the screen problems of the V30 is really holding me back on it. Saw some reviews about the Mate 10 Pro's camera being relatively subpar, but I also saw comments that an update has brought improvements to the camera. anyone care to share? :D

Hi all, looking to buy the mate 10 next week. Any chance that the prices will drop anytime soon?
Also, it is currently retailing at $888 at large electronics stores such as harvey Norman etc but only $750 at those small hp shops. From what I know the warranty is still backed by huawei, but is there any reason why its much cheaper and should i avoid getting it from those smaller shops?
