Every phones got their pros and cons and every software be it iOS and android has their own bugs.

For me, im enjoying the snappiness and battery life of the phone. So far i dont have any complaints. I even bought my wife a pink gold today for her birthday and valentines present. Camera of the phone is great too, just point and shoot and you still can get decent photos

I am at 1 day 7 hour on battery with 2 hours 10mins SOT, i still have 59 percent batt remaining

haha i get it at the store at sim lim square im waiting for my wife to unbox it so i can take a look how pink gold looks like. i am using the brown la as pink is really not my color. couple phone can le lol!

first time user of huawei and was very impressed by it. previous phone was LG V20, and it was such a disappointment.

less than a week of usage, and I decided to get a mate 9 for my wife.

once I got mate 9, I updated it to Oreo and found not much difference between my mate 10.

and this is coming from a iPhone user since the 1st gen US version till iPhone 7.

If you go to Play Store, your installed tab is empty, and the searching for update will just keep going and going. Close the app and reopen doesn't fix it.

Either have to restart phone or clear the Google Play services data in the settings page then reopen it will be back to normal.

Those using Mate 10, can now install v131 full Ota via FF.
Tried the local proxy method, didn't work. But works after using DNS method.

Download was fast and installation works fine.

Does it happen to all ur apps that require internet connection? Trying switching off wifi and then on it again. If that solves it, means u could be having wifi issues :/

This weird issue only happens to Play Store. Wifi is still working, tried browsing webs and even surfing the play store look at other apps is fine. Just my installed tab is empty but if you see WhatsApp app page it shows I’ve installed it.

Restart the phone or clear the data will fix it though.

Another thing is it normal for all android notifications eg email received to sometimes be a bit slower than on iOS or is it Mate 10’s issue. My iPhone and iPad always get notifications immediately any email comes in, but my M10 will always be a bit slower, like can be 5 mins later.

is this phone worth buying still?

seems an unusually high no. of resale (on carousell) and this thread discussion mainly on problems/bugs/OS issues.

To be honest, I compiled most of the issues and asked the users here. Most I can live with or aren't major software issues.

In the end, i did get the M10p because the pros just outweigh those issues. Also a number of them seem to be oreo related, not only on the M10p. Hopefully they'll get resolved, but I only experience software annoyances ever so often and is kind of a quirk with android tbh.

I can say I'm a real happy camper after experiencing many android phones. EMUI isn't the best looking but highly functional,and the hardware on the device is impressive.

Use the Firmware Finder. I'm on 131 for my non pro
