Got this issue.. Why whenever i off the phone.. Then after a while restart it.. The pics that people used to whatsapp me cannot be open.. Or download.. Have to go to storage cleaner to clean unuse apps or files.... Then can use

Go settings>wireless and networks>mobile data>network apps

U can allow which app to use yr mobile data.

Just checked my warranty online and with Huawei, the screen crack warranty is only 3 months from purchase date. It was one year with mate 9. Shouldn't it be one year as standard with other makes like Samsung etc?

I don't think Samsung's warranty covers screen cracks, let alone for 1 year..?

I am still using it since last year November. It still looks as good as new. But it's a finger print magnet. Haha.

Samsung's default warranty don't cover you for screen repairs. You need to pay for their upgraded concierge to cover that if I am not mistaken. That does not increase the phone warranty which is still 1 year though.

After Mate 9 the other models only 3 months screen crack warranty, so keep your original receipt.

Btw, anyone feel the colors, for food and sometimes human pics too much contrast, makes all my food pictures look like fake, buay tahan. But scenery and all is really good.

The AI supposedly does that when it detects food. I noticed it as well. However, the good thing is that the colors don't look as ridiculous on photo or on a monitor. I think it is the OLED display that makes the color oversaturated.

Btw for those who tried using the Monochrome mode, is it hard to get a good picture?

Like it's easier to be blur, compared to normal coloured. Taking the same photo, color then monochrome, a lot of times color sharper.

And I feel like the sharpness and detail is much lower than colored, like if you zoom in texts, can see the monochrome not as sharp.

I've not taken a monochrome picture. However, I believe the monochrome camera does not come with image stabilizer, which is why it could blur easily. However, the beauty of the monochrome camera is that it captures more light as compared to the main RGB camera.

Please don't. I had the same gung ho move. Had quite a number of substantial scratches and had to sell my Mate 9 at a substantially lower price too.
