Anyone has used both P20Pro and Mate 10 (Non Pro) can help me decide, which model offer better screen quality? Mate 10 has higher resolution which is a big PLUS I guess?

depends. "most" ppl say amoled is better in terms of battery saving (proven only 1 or 2%), vibrancy and color.

some think ips is better. so up to you

fuuuh...finally got it to work with firmware finder! love the new feature! ok, for guys that are totally new with this like me, i try to explain step to step method:

1. Download in playstore "Firmware Finder for Huawei"

2. Click the app and it will auto detect your phone. Click your phone model "BLA-******"

3.Find the firmware that end with B138 (i did it with 752mb OTA-MF) and click in

4. Check firmware access and check availability. it should mention firmware approved.

5. Click download and download the 3 files

6. Once download complete, go to your wifi (whichever that you are connnected) and click modify network > show advanced network > Proxy > manual. Key in the following:
-Proxy hostname: localhost
-Proxy port: 8080
-Click saved

7. Go back to the firmware finder and click "In-app Proxy"

8. Go back to phone setting>system>system update. At this point the new firmware should pop up.

9. Click quick update and pause it. Disable the "In-app Proxy"

10. Go back to your wifi setting and modify the network proxy to "None"

11. Then back to system update and press continue. Enjoy!!

I've used both and I'll say:

1) Colors and the deeper black are definitely better on the P20 Pro due to the OLED screen

2) Even though screen resolution is higher on the Mate 10, I don't think anyone can really tell the difference between the 2 screen. However, P20 Pro screen seems to be auto sharpen somehow :s22:

Between the 2 phones, I don't think screen is the major factor for consideration here unless you think otherwise

I used the partial Ota version instead of the 2gb. Worked fine.

Did you apply the liquid at the edge? Used such oil before, it tends to wear out after a while.. Any similar experience ?
Yup same here... It wears out after few days and then the edge trap more dust actually
