49.90 not ex. The phone can still last another 2 years maybe. Did you always charge your phone over night or let it continue charge when it is 100%?

Agreed. I just changed my battery myself after it bloated up and dislodged the back casing.

If you're using Mate 10 Pro, be careful of the fingerprint sensor flex cable when removing the back casing

change yourself, less than $20.

there are quite a feel video online showing you how to change the battery.

since your battery is bloatedz the back casing should be quite easy to remove.

But by changing the battery yourself you will lose the waterproof right?

Got my battery changed from Hitech. So far so good.
To be honest, can't really get my next ideal phone. Don't want Samsung, too many minor issue, some more with Enxynos. Dun like curve screen. China phone too much touch up on camera photo. Huawei no more GMS. iPhone no physical dual SIM. LG no more selling locally. What else? Haiz....

How much does Hitech charge? Original battery? On the spot servicing?

I enquired Huawei Service Center, total will be $16 + $40 (labour fee) and takes about 1-3 working days. No 49.90 promo deal nor Huawei Service day currently.

The 49.90 battery deal is over?!

Was planning to take advantage of the deal when my Mate 10 reaches 2yrs soon.

If within warranty, should be free IIRC. Mine out of warranty, I paid 57ish including GST.

I just checked the Huawei website and it says the battery is only $21 for Mate 20 Pro before GST and if under warranty there is no labour or admin charge. If that is the case, then I will change my battery early next year before my warranty runs out.

$45 for labour and battery. About 1 hour done. I dun check whether is original or not.
