does any mate know why does mate 20 X is cheaper than mate 20 pro?

Quite like mate 20 x design though

Just do a comparison on the Huawei website between the X, Pro and Mate 20 and you will see that the X has inferior display, front camera, no front fingerprint sensor, no wireless charging. Despite this this is the phone for me to get.

Problem is whether it will be brought in by Huawei Singapore.

Nano card compatibility can be improved if nano to micro adapter card is available. Those devices using micro sd can easily use a nano and micro adapter.

Actually yea, did Huawei confirm if nano memory has the same electrical connectivity as micro SD?

microSD could be adapted easily to full size SD cos of the pins layout being same

if nano is the same then the only issue is making a tiny adapter that is rigorous enough to not break. Given the already small size of microSD i reckon the adapter will be something similar to those SIM card adapters where it's just a 'frame' going over the card.

looks like its also 8 pin like microSD but the layout is not in a straight line... not sure if that will make adapters difficult. Nano to full SD possible... nano to micro will be troublesome to design.

This is business in the sense of market segmentation and prevention of cannibalization.

Hybrid from what I saw in the keynote. Similar to iPhone XS dual sim where you can put 1 on top and 1 underneath.

If this area also quite good I really will give up pixel 3xl and give the 20 pro a shot liao .

I really think the M20P is a very good device this year, pretty impressed by the efforts to cram as much "features" in without feeling like it's overdone IMO.

But I hate the camera difference between non Pro and Pro ever since P20 making the difference. The last Mate had the same camera system.

Now I have no choice but to go for Pro if I want the camera, even though I don't mind everything else about the non Pro.

The capture technique maybe but not preference ba. My "not as good" refers to the shot blurring the edges of the object (eg hair of the person).

He used my phone to compare again with his Xs though.

But I think Apple and Pixel is more consistent.

Huawei sometimes fk up badly, but sometimes can take really really good ones also.

Thanks for the confirmation on the hybrid slots. Hmm.. not an issue for me, as the phones I'm using now are all hybrids too. But, that will mean no expansion for me as I used 4 SIM cards on both my phones.

Haizz... Why Samsung can out 2+1 in their J7 phone (budget range) but Huawei can't put it in their flagship?...
