Not sure what u meant for $118, is that to brag or?

Because $118 is with some high value plan right, if so u have to state it otherwise u should not state 118 at all

Really misleading and totally no idea of the intension.

If u got the set at 118 with no contract, let me know where to get it. Thanks.

This forum not meant for discussions anymore it seems...no point trying to keep suan others...where possible 118 no contract for mate 20 pro ? Of cos it comes with a high end plan...it's just that he is happy getting the phone at that price without upfront paying RRP for it that's all no biggie

And guys.
Huawei mate 20 pro is water proof.
Remember last time I told your about I bring it to pool?

Now I bring it to pool and test and everything works fine with the unclog.
Here is part of the video
Or direct link.

Water-resistant: able to resist the penetration of water to some degree but not entirely.

Waterproof: impervious to water.

Mate 20 pro is ip68 rated so it's water resistant not water proof

If goondu can understand. He will Google straight away instead of coming here and ask.

Who is arguing? You replied to him and I replied to his post then u starts to chase me over your replies.

Think with your head for a moment bro...even tech goondu will understand if he is holding a China set with no playstore how to search on playstore?

Get over it...no one's arguing with you...

I know the difference between water resistant and water proof. Or should I just say water proof for this time round?

As for me since my phone survived 2 times while my watch failed at second time.

12 to 3 o clock got water vapour. I assume that phone water resistant is stronger than this stupid watch

Anyone tried using the smart remote? I find it worse than one.

You phone really have to align with the device to control it.

Sometimes even the recorded keys doesnt work==

Xiao mi is better in this==

Is not cannot read.. because you keep asking me for proof after one another. Think twice.
If I cannot proof you that he edited the post. You will say if deleted then his post should be after mine.

There will be even more question and proof you want from me.even though u keep saying that u just wanna find out the truth.

What's the reason for finding out? Suspecting of something? Finding whose right or wrong ?or really curious on whose right or wrong?

Well if I keep ask u for proof of something what do you feel? Sometimes u don't have to use the actual word to describe something. Your actions will more or less shows what you trying to do or say.

No need to apologise.yoy are free to talk here.

Have a good weekend .

LOL if you cannot read and say I accuse you then go ahead

:s13:

I really was curious! And, thanks for highlighting the mobile edit part. That's new to me!

I'll stop here hahaha. Have a good weekend!

Edit: giving the benefit of doubt, then I owe you an apology too! Sorry!

Xiaomi infrared remote is better, able to use at far distance and wider angle.

With mate 20 pro, you need to be marksman to control it==

you guys are quite funny to keep talking about water resistant and water proof....for daily use and swimming, why did you stress so much.

my tag heuer is 200m water resistance, so means what, i cannot swim with it because it is not waterproof?

go and enjoy your phone by the pool...it is make for that.:s13:

Just a short write up on the Mate 20 non pro version for the benefit of those who have not gotten one and planning of getting one.

My brother and I have both colours for me being the Black one and my brother having the blue one.
Initially I was really jealous of how cool the textured back looks on the blue and it certainly looks safer from scratches.

But after a month plus of usage and here's what I found out.

My brother's blue set is starting to get a few tiny Nick's around the bezel probably caused by taking it out of the case to clean.
There these tiny silver spots around th noe bezel near the headphone jack and charging port. Basically areas exposed and not covered by the case. I am guessing that such damages are more prominent maybe cause the blue colour is coated onto it. Therefore it's easier to get such damages.

My black on the other hand, I did not find any of such damages probably b cause the colour is a close to the original colour of the bezel. So did not show much wear. In fact still look as good as new.

On the downside. The black is a fingerprint magnet and its a worrying factor that it will scratch easily like chrome.
Other than all these, both looks gorgeous in their own way.
Its up to you if you are more comfortable dealing with fingerprint or scratches.
I probably will stick with the black for the durability to wear and tear.

Does the tempered glass from far East used uv glue? And also does it fit spigen Rugged armor cover for mate 20 pro?

No uv glue which is what i like. It fits liquid crystal which is well known to lift up tempered glass compared to rugged armor. So it will fit rugged armor
